Two characteristics that make me choose using R-play over ps4 remote play: 1. R-play will work over cellular VS ps4 remote play you must use wifi . 2. With R-play you can customize controls VS ps4 remote play you cannot. R-play is great. ??
Don’t expect to use your PS4 Controller

The on screen controls are VERY wonky, and there is no warning in the app-store that you cannot connect your controller to iOS, and that the process they list to use your PS4 Controller is arduous and doesn’t work. I spent 20 minutes trying to link a “secondary” account to the PS4 which the device would not allow. Save your money unless you just want to use this as a media player, as games are unplayable using the on screen controls.

In the beginning it worked great but as I upgraded to the PS4 Pro this thing is so glitchy. Sometimes it works but most of the time it doesn’t. I would not recommend. Lastly need to add this in but when I emailed support when my phone was not connecting the response I received back was them calling me “trash”. Screw this company

I’ll cut straight to it, if you own a PS4 but not this app, you’re stupid. This is a godsend. Before I started using a tweak that enables me to pair my DS4 directly to my phone via Bluetooth, I bought an MFi controller for this, and it essentially turned my phone into a PS4 Switch. Even on my data connection, hiccups in the stream are infrequent and there’s zero input lag from any controller I use. Last night, I did an entire Sekiro run at work and earned my platinum. I got paid for it, and it’s all because of this. Absolutely glorious. We should all get down on our knees and worship this developer.
