I got it to work, but the quality is terrible, the games don’t stop lagging, etc. I’m playing on an iPhone XR by the way.

I honestly didn’t expect this to work so well. I would recommend this if you have a 5G network though. Anything shower and I think there would be major delays.

So far it works better than either the official PC/Mac/iOS app or my Vita. I can use the power shell for my iPhone SE for the non analog controls. Uses some battery though but that is to be expected. It even works over the internet, which is more than I can say for the official app which is waaaay to finicky about consistent connection speeds.

No lie...I sold my Vita because I found more use in this app. There’s 2 keys though: 1. Learn how to open the ports on your router so you can internet play on your data anywhere in the world. Also have your PS4 connected via Ethernet. 2. Get a wireless Bluetooth controller or what I personally use, a GameVice controller. I wouldn’t seriously use this app without one, unless the game you’re playing is simple and doesn’t require advanced controls. Once you do these 2 things you’ll be able to pretty much use this anywhere for any game.

It would be great that this app is for MAC OS as well. Better working than the original PSN app. Please consider to create app for the Mac OS. Sure to be downloaded from my side.

The new ps remote app does not work with older ipads! This is why I will never buy another apple product!!!!! This is your only option for remotely playing the PS4 on your iPad, and it works great. You definitely need an Ethernet connection your your PS4. Setting up remote play via my phone was a headache but definitely doable....you really need to setup a static IP address and then paste in the necessary ports from the help section of the appinto the port section of your router...This app makes your PS4 mobile!! I can play NHL 19 off my 4G hotspot!! Great app!!!
