Update made it worse

MattMadden

The phone version is solid. But I used the Apple Watch version most. It was easily the best out there. The latest updates have killed it I’m afraid. No sound, barely a vibration to let you know a cycle is done, and it auto-pauses itself constantly (eg during a wall sit my arms is down and still...that doesn’t mean I want the app paused). No easy support available to contact developer, just a canned website to give them your email (no “contact us” provided). Fix it and I’ll update the review.

Great workout

This is really the best workout app I found! All the others are full of ads and workouts that don’t work! This one has good, effective workouts and they’re quick enough to do before bed! I’ve been using this app for almost a year and it’s gotten me in shape just in time for my wedding, vacations and whenever I’m starting to feel like I’ve put on a few pounds (like just after the holidays). I normally use the main 7 min work out but I like to change it up and use all of them. They each give me a great intense workout each time!!!

Best program

This is the best program

Very good, but crash in Apple Watch.

is having trouble with the version of Apple Watch, when the exercise ends it gets stuck on the screen, does not cancel, does not close. could make a vibration or sound by finishing one count for another in Apple Watch.

Just what I need

I downloaded several seven minute workout apps, and this one is the best for me so far. Some I erased shortly after download because there was no content without signing up for a (free) account, others don’t work without internet connectivity, and some simply incorporate exercises unfriendly to my current physiology (too much jumping). This one works offline, has good video and audio cues (other than not announcing the very first exercises before it starts, all others have an announcement and a countdown que), no ads or subscriptions, and three workouts - two of which have been added to my daily standard (quick 7 and the abs workout). Pretty darn amazing for a free app.

Great but a slight request

Is there any way to transfer my progress (achievements, streaks, records) onto my new phone? Apple to apple?

It works

I have a hard time keeping up with working out because of my crazy life and schedule. But doing just a few minutes at the beginning or end (or both) of my day helps me to keep motivated. But I just wish it would let me play music at the same time. Other than that it's great!

Great save for a busy schedule!

French Dummy

I've been using this app once/twice a month for a couple of years to supplement my workout schedule. Recently, life has gotten busy and I've used it several times a week. It's great – – I can still walk faster than my husband, and he walks with our young crazy dog every day! Some reviewers say other apps are better, so I decided to check out a few. It's all personal, but I like this one! The exercises in all are the same – – jumping jacks, plank, etc. But the videos on this one show real people not cartoons, there is no distracting music, and they include non-obtrusive hints during the workout (keep your back straight, breathe). I'm not changing!

Perfect app for a proven workout

So far I've only used it for the 7-minute workout. For that workout I don't see how it could be topped. There are other workouts available on the app that (someday) I may try too so it isn't limited.
