Major features of Qremote:

- Remote controller
- Mouse
- Keyboard
Have to reconnect when I reopen the app, but it only takes 2 seconds and happens automatically, so I don’t mind much.
iPad. Constantly loses connection. Controls don’t respond to a single touch, it takes a random number of repeated touches for a button to work. No scroll support in mouse mode.
All the rest of the QNAP apps work fine. On my IPad and IPhone 5, this one disconnects when you try to execute a command and then can't find the NAS drive. Very frustrating. Ts469L
Follow on releases exhibit the same disconnect problems as reported with earlier versions. This app is not ready for public consumption. Still a problem.
I have a QNAP TS-470 and I use it for many different things. In every single case QNAP proves so produce nothing but considerate and high quality software. I am extremely satisfied with their hardware products. But as anyone knows hardware is nothing without well written software. All if the QNAP apps I have used are really good and inhave every single one downloaded into my iPhone 5S. The QRemote is the one I use the most as I have my QNAP NAS connected via HDMI to my TV. It is as responsive as a TV remote even when using the keyboard input there is no noticeable app. It appears the programmers went to great lengths to ensure the code is efficient to interface smoothly with XBMC, YouTube, Chrome, and generally with the QNAP HDMI user interface. I noticed that this app did not have a review and thought it was ridiculous that no one has commented on their hard work. I love my QNAP NAS and love it even more with the great software development that they seems to focus on. Keep up the great work!
Horrible app. Losses network connection every 10 sec. Qnap works very well, this application keeps disconnecting.
No problems here; works fine. I'm running the latest HD Station. The remote control shipped with the NAS requires an unobstructed line-of-sight. If you are one who likes to keep the NAS out of sight, this virtual remote, much like Roku's, is a good solution.
