For starters I love the app but one thing i dont like about it is when you download it on your phone you cant do some of the things that you can do on a ipad… and being me i dont have a ipad so if you want more people to like and use the app make it useable for everything like iphones,samsungs, and like samsung tablets! Definitely my favorite mobile drawing app, though here are some suggestions that I think could make it even better: -A lock option The option to hide or lock a folder/canvas only using a customized passcode to get in the the folder/canvas That’s all. Anyway great drawing app!!

ive been using ibispaintx since about 2019, and in the last year and a half drawing on my phone has been far more accessible to be than drawing on my computer with a tablet. the recent switch to apple was due, in part, to procreate! ive seen raving reviews, tried it myself, and when the opportunity arose to make the OS switch i snapped procreate up as soon as i could. the painting on this app is astonishing. it pulls color like real paint, it FEELS smooth, its almost tactile in a way. its genuinely something i didnt know was even possible on a phone. the line smoothing is also another really good feature. ive used a LOT of digital art programs in my life, and they all use the same kind of thing. it slows the cursor down. procreate feels like im laying down each stroke rather than letting the program guide my hand, which increases my line control! i love that its pen by pen as well, so the pen i use for my eraser wont have as much smoothing as what im drawing with. i do have a few issues that are genuinely upsetting, however. if it didnt break my workflow i dont think id care as much. when you select an area with the lasso and then go to transform it, the hitboxes for the corners is...weird. if im tapping in the middle and moving, i expect the whole box to move. but usually i end up catching an edge and changing the size. this is REALLY frustrating at times. i have to zoom in to move it, and then zoom back out to see if its even where i need it to be. thats one thing that every single other art program for phones gets right. if i didnt pay for it, it might be enough to keep me from using it honestly. this isnt just stuck to the select box either. the pen width and pressure ALSO have these massive hitboxes around them that i always seem to catch, as im right handed and tend to move left to right for quick/long strokes. this really is a powerful app. i have no interest in blowing a thousand bucks on an ipad and apple pencil to see if this problem persists on the ipad version of this app, but i can see it just being a trade off for the smaller screen. problems aside i love this app, i really do. i cannot imagine going back to ibispaint after playing with this for a week now, and i cannot recommend it enough for people who are really serious about digital art on the go!

It wont let me draw. Every time I try to line do a stroke it wont do anything. I was really excited to download this app, but it just doesn’t work. I’m sorry to say, but I don’t recommend.

i like this app but i have a problem, so when ever I insert certain photos the color wheel becomes black and white. but when i insert a different photo all the colors in the color wheel are back. when I insert one of the photos that turn the color wheel black and white and insert another photo on that canvas that had color, the color in that photo becomes black and white too.
