Procreate: Great for iPad, Bad for iPhone

grudgnor

I purchased Procreate for iPhone after falling in love with the iPad app. Unfortunately the iPhone app falls way short of my expectations. - no way to edit my Procreate documents from my iPad. I can’t even view them! - no way to open pics and mark them up or draw. Have to open low res blank screen and import photo.

Big Disappointment!

I have iPhone 8 Plus which is twice as fast as the iPad Pro. So why couldn't I get the all the professional grade features that iPad Pro have!? It not fair that I couldn't do many thing on my iPhone 8 Plus like my iPad Pro! ?? I’ll give 5 stars for getting all the features from iPad to the iPhone!

Neglected

This app has not been updated for over a year. Buggy on iOS 11, unsupported on iPhone X. iPad version is awesome tho. Shame the iPhone version was forgotten about.

I have a few issues.

I love the app, it's really clean and easy to use. However, the fact that you only have two canvas sizes to work with is really frustrating, and I'd like to be able to edit brushes in the app.

I hate this

Do not buy

This app is a waste of your time and money, first of all, you can't even get decent sketches at all, images for the product are imported and are even close to being able to be made, waste of $3, I am wanting my money back.

Good app

No one in real life knows i’m a digital artist. After using several art apps, Procreate is the best one: colors, tools, adjustment, etc is exactly what I’m looking for. I’d recommend reading Procreate from iBook first (it’s free, woohoo). Otherwise, using this app alone would be frustrating.

Nice app but one thing

Chilesnarchie

Nice app but I need a straight line tool or a ruler to make straight lines. PLEASE ADD THIS.

Fantastic Drawing App

I have an iPad Pro now, but before then I had a first version iPad Mini (that couldn’t run any later than iOS 9) and a stylus. I was very satisfied with this app, and honestly it’s worth the $2.99 if you’re not a really serious artist. I would say that (obviously) the original Procreate is better, but if you don’t have access to it, I would certainly recommend it. There are features that I wish it could do, but for a not so serious artist like me, it’s a phenomenal app. I would use it everyday and if you have the money, I would definitely give it a try.
