Was a great app until 17 January 2022

App started crashing. “Something went wrong” in status at top of frame. App worked well until 1/17/2022. This is the next day. Not only doesn’t this app help create art with filters, now it will barely function. I have tried plenty of my own bug fixes (as a graphic artist I know about bugs in art apps) but no dice. Funny how my other art apps work perfectly. Please fix this.

Auto cropping of pics

I don’t like that some pics are auto cropped so much you can’t even see the subject of the photo. For a paid app this needs work!!

This is such a cool concept abd for the few times that it works - it’s amazing and definitely worth it. Unfortunately, the app has serious glitches and bugs that take forever to get fixed and renders the app useless, which makes it not worth it. My advice: save your money until they sort themselves out -

I’m sorry, but this new trend of requiring you be to commit to what I call the “timed release subscription” is spreading like wildfire, and needs to stop. Left unchecked there will eventually be no concept of a free app. Furthermore, I contend that the companies employing this technique are preying on the statistically probable percentage of people that either procrastinate too long or simply forget to cancel before the “trial period” ends. At the end of the day you shouldn’t have to commit to a subscription, time-released or not, before you’ve even had a chance to open and try the app. For this reason, when I install an app and am forced to agree to a subscription as soon as I launch it for the first time, I immediately uninstall it and leave this review; hoping to encourage others to do the same, and in turn begin, hopefully, to discourage developers from utilizing this scheme. EDIT: It was unclear to me how to use the app without subscribing, I couldn’t seem to get past the screen prompting me to choose a subscription.

Baits you to download and then hit you with sub only option and one of those “free trials” trying to auto renew trick you. Not a tactic that shows you believe in your product.

Prisma has been my favorite photo filtering app for years but I finally canceled my subscription because it stopped working—again. I launch the app and it freezes. No error message, just completely unresponsive to all input. I’ve deleted and reinstalled, rebooted my iPhone and... nothing. These type of issues have always plagued the app. It’s great when it works but I’m tired of the continuous frustration. That’s why I canceled my subscription. Buyer beware.
