What's with communication error 504, 501 !!!

It's a cool concept and worked fine for me first time. But the next time I tried to access the files, I couldn't. It kept showing me the communication error. even on my desktop when I tested, same thing. And after a few more minutes of fidgeting, it started working again! I am only trying to use this over wifi. your milage over 3G or edge may vary. decent app, but has some hiccups sometimes.

Freezes to a white screen often. Only recognizes .mov video files,but won't stream even those(Streamer app does, so it's not my bandwidth). A disappointment.

Farfinder is a great app! One of the most revolutionary concepts I've seen. I'm a student and I use it so that I can have access to all of my files while I'm wandering around campus, without having to lug around my laptop. I can also imagine that if someone stole my computer, I could use farfinder to snap a photo of them. The app works really well, and the new release fixed what minor bugs there were. Its more expensive than most iPhone apps, but its totally worth it, and don't forget its a lot more than just an iphone app. In a way the iPhone app is just icing on the cake-- I can also use farfinder from any browser on any computer.

I love the concept and I must say the desktop app works great. Like many have already said, the iPhone app isn't very user-friendly. I've managed to get the app to work pretty well but it took me quite some time. I was a little disappointed by the small amount of formats supported. I'm looking forward to an update so I can change my rating.

I have cable in one location and DSL in another. Back to my Mac works in the cable environment but not with my DSL. FarFinder works from both locations and its fast. The iPhone app is also amazing. It has worked perfectly everywhere I have tried it. I also love how fast its been. Even on 3G. Developers like this deserve our support. I have to thank them for their good work.

I can go anywhere and be able to impress clients even if I was a doltz and forgot to bring my files. Normally I have my laptop with me but for the times I don't, I have no excuses!

I like the fact that it doesn't do the screen sharing from my mac. That is a very slow process to bring all the graphics and mouse, etc. 99% of the time you just need a file. This does the perfect job. I also, like how you can use it from your iphone or any browser. This is the free iphone app that goes with the paid client software. However, i bought it becuase i really enjoyed the trial (20 days). Setup was a snap...you have to install client software and then setup a user/password for the software....after that, you use your mac user/password. Great job....Recommended!
