Love 531 and now the app makes figuring out percentages simple. One thing I would like to see added is the ability the change the started date. I've been using 531 for months now I would like to input all my work from previous dates. I'd also like to see the iPad Pro feature of showing 2 apps on the screen on the same screen. Keep pushing forward guys!

Good app but annoying ads and mini games

Ekibc

I could definitely do without those features but I am willing to pay for the pro version.

Great app

Pretty Good App Version of 5/3/1

dexhandle

The UI is a little cumbersome, but that's compared to the elegant simplicity of something like Stronglifts. But 5/3/1 is a much better program and this app still has everything you need. The base program, the plate calculator, the rest timer and the custom accessory builder are all great. The built in accessories are nice too, but I feel they all run a little heavy. They are based off the main lifts, so one would assume it would work pretty well, but I found I had to tweak the percent values a bit or just build my own from scratch. Love that it has better notifications of the rest timer now too. Both a banner up top on the phone and even a notifiction on my Apple Watch too. Overall, definitey great if you plan on doing 5/3/1. Just spend a half an hour or so learning your way around it.

Lost pro version

Big mac with cheesee

I had purchased the pro version for 10$. I accidentally deleted the app and when I re downloaded it I lost the pro version and it wants me to pay another 10$. Solid app just annoying I need to re pay

One cycle in, it's a pretty good app. Not without flaws.

The app does a good job with the primary lifts; however, the logic behind the assistance programs (especially the app's version of the classic Big and Boring/Big and Dumb assistance) is goofy. A common decision people make with the Big and Boring routine is doing bench accessory work on OHP day and squat accessory work on deadlift day and vice versa. And even though the app warns the user against doing deadlift accessory work on deadlift day, when it comes time to actually do the work, it doesn't give you any other option. If it's deadlift day and you pick squat assistance, it gives you deadlift assistance. If you choose bench assistance, it gives you deadlift assistance. No matter which assistance work you select, it gives you the assistance work assigned for the primary lift you have just completed. Consequently, if you're planning on alternating the main lift and dynamic effort assistance work, the app fails you on a pretty big chunk of your workout. And while you can change the routines themselves, you will end up having to do calculate the math all on your own, which is supposed to be one of the reasons you buy the app. This would be a nice thing to revise on future updates of the app. It's also worth considering doing the Boring but Big challenge, in which the assistance work increases from 50 to 60 to 70 percent of the working max over the course of three cycles.

Fantastic 5/3/1 tracking

Awesome app

Just gotta give a quick 5 stars, the free version is awesome! Does everything I need and saves me so much time trying to figure out my sets each week. I'm definitely going to upgrade soon for all the cool stuff that comes along with he premium version.

Easy to use and track your pr

Love this app, has been a life saver for me not having to count seconds for rest time. Only suggestion is to allow lower rest time currently 1min is lowest you can go would like to drop to 30 secs on assistance workouts
