If I was on my computer I’d write a couple paragraphs about how this app has helped me in business and personal life. It’s got so many features and is SUPER quick. High recommendation. One of the best apps on my phone. Certainly the quickest loading.

When I searched the word “innocence” on this app, the word “whiteness” was listed as a synonym. I tweeted @powerthesaurus alerting them that this was on there because it is an incredibly racist association. They responded with an article about how whiteness is associated with cleanliness and can make people feel refreshed. I think it is not only ignorant but very dangerous to legitimize and disseminate the idea that whiteness=innocence—this is exactly how you end up with all kinds of racist disparities in the criminal justice system, in job hiring, etc. Please if you care about racial justice delete this app and tweet at them as well!

I get along in seven languages and professionally function in five of them. I’ve got 21 shelves filled with dictionaries, encyclopedias, and thesauruses. Observing the World and how volatile it became I am not especially bent on progress. But this thing here vindicates all the casualties of the century. I can’t put it down so addictive it became. I read it on the bus, I study it in bed, I learn from it at my desk, I consult it when I write, I research it when I need to hone my style, I browse in it when I’m just curious, I bathe in it when I need inspiration, I get drunk on it and end up writing idiocies. This app belongs in the games section!
