I love it it's so easy to use

PROfessional

One of the few apps that allow you to edit specific details. LOVE IT. Great if used along other apps like VSCO and snapseed. ?

Sometimes just hangs + too expensive

flypcide

Biggest gripe is that occasionally, for no reason on iPhone X the app just hangs when trying to open an image from the camera roll. There is just a spinning icon and the image never opens. Too expensive if you buy in top all the pro features, many of which are already included in Snapseed or Lightroom. But otherwise, it's a great photo editor.

Amazing

GoogleDeveloper

My go-to photo editor on the iPhone and iPad.

I’m impressed! (I was...)

UPDATE: Well near perfect but I had to correct and deduct 2 star. You are missing what is for me and I imagine most landscape and architecture photographers, a critical tool. I thought the distortion tool was it but it is NOT. So many great tools done well but there is NO PERSPECTIVE tool. The distortion tool is gimmicky at best. But for Landscape and architecture you must have a perspective tool. The ability to correct both vertical and horizontal converging lines is a simple and absolute need for landscapes and modt architecture. So many basic and even free apps have it. So close but but you got carried away with tons of presets and glitz and left out one of the most fundamental photographic tools. So close to perfect. Look at Photoshop Express, Snapseed and Darkroom which has probably the most elegant perspective implementation. Sigh!! You almost did it right. I was going to get the Mac OS version also for my laptop but now I won’t since I don’t see it there either. No sense wasting my money. ————— original review below I was uncertain about Polarr at first. After playing with it for a few days in am impressed by the degree of control and refinement it offers. I have been taking photos since I was a young teenager, for more then 50 years. 12 of those professionally but of a more technical nature (military, industrial, biomedical). I love the modern age of digital photo and all the things it allows one to do. It’s a whole new adventure. I shoot with a variety of cameras including iPhone. I also do a fair amount of high resolution shooting (greater then 40mp). Polarr seems to handle all of it with ease. When shooting with my good equipment I often transfer images to my phone for preview and first editing. I like that you also have a Mac app I’ll be looking into. I will love that you realize that when editing photos some photographers will want to make multiple versions of an edit, and not just save over the original. So having a save as copy is a vital option. All of the save options are useful including resizing. Now for suggestions. If you could improve over Photos poor sorting options and and additional file viewing sorting options that would be great especially image (not file) creation date so that all versions ca be viewed alongside the original. This has been long. Polarr is good enough for professionals, but easy enough for anyone to learn. Oh HDR merging would be a nice option but I do have other apps for that. Retired I now shoot mostly Travel, historical architecture and landscape but there other things as well. Living in the Philippines I don’t always have access to internet so cloud dependent apps are not useful. Polarr gives me a suite of powerful tools that meet nearly all my needs. Not a big presets user but everything else is good. Even The face tools are handy.

Won't save my pictures

Imaginative reviewer 101

This app won't save my pictures.. When I click save, the screen goes gray and then the app goes back to the 'choose your photo' menu. SUPER annoying. Please fix this and I will definitely up my review, as this app has potential

Muito naipe

Crashes On Launch

must have coffee

Crashes consistently on launch if there are no shots stored in the Camera Roll. Also forces album creation on Save or Save a Copy—conformed by developer and really annoying. Nice filters and promising but lacking in basic functionality. Will revise this review when/if these issues are fixed.

Hands down the best photo editing app

Bestphotoappever

I use manyyyy photo apps and I always go back to Polarr because it has the best features to edit your photo. There are a lot of ways to bring out the best of your photo and Polarr does that for sure, I have been using this app for so many years and it only keeps updating and is getting better and better. Just download and play around with it, don’t be intimidated by the many options it has, it definitely will give you a professional editing power that other apps don’t give.

Amazing but annoying

Mary Rutledge

I love this app, like, a lot. I use it for my instagram page, and it’s great. But, I have some issues with it. On one of my filters, it always pops up a “Double Tap to edit” thing, which by the way, double tapping it doesn’t work. It’s really annoying because it takes up space on the photo that I need—, it’s like a watermark. I had gotten the filter off an Instagram account that does filters, and this is my ONLY filter that does that. Fix it!!!!
