Interesting to pitch this app to use with a vehicle we spent $30k on. The app won’t even load. Glad our RZR works better than the app.
Good idea. But crashes on start up

May 2018 Update - Not good. This app has so much potential but it is too buggy to use reliably. Installed on an ipad2 that was mounted in my turbo rzr. App would start and work great. Then it would randomly crash and shut itself down (the app). I could barely use it more than 15 minutes before a fatal crash. Also some commands are missing in landscape mode, which is how my iPad is mounted. So you can be locked out during a ride. It’s not currently reliable enough to use. Also randomly the trails would disappear and only reappear when you resize your iPad screen. Very buggy. If they can get a handle on some of these serious problems, then this app will be unstoppable. But for now, I have to go with another app. **UPDATE** Got it working again. Delete the app. Remove it from iTunes too. Reinstall. It should work. If not, try rebooting your phone after the reinstall. I used this before in Moab and it was great. Got us through Hells Roaring Revenge no problem. The problem is the updates. The latest update won’t even allow the app to open. Just the welcome screen and then an all white screen. Nothing. Running on iPhone 6 with current iOS. I still like the app. Just need to figure a way to get it working again. I hope they fix it because I just bought a defender case for my iPad and ram mounts for my rzr turbo.
Needs update badly!

This app worked fine last September (2017) when I used it at camp razor Northeast, but today (June 3, 2018) it will no longer even launch.. you try to launch the app and you get a blank white screen for about a minute and a half before it just crashes and closes.. i’m using iPhone 7, my iOS is up-to-date, my app is up-to-date, and I have turned off and turned on my phone to see if that would make a difference and it didn’t.

App won’t rotate upside down: My phone is mounted upside down on the A-pillar so that that charge cable goes up, and into the Polaris wire management hole inside the top corner of the roll cage. Missing many options in landscape: When using the app horizontally I am missing most of the options that are available in portrait. When my device is in its holder it’s a pain to pull over, take the device out of its mount turn it vertically just to perform some actions then mount it all back up horizontally again. Please fix this, it’s been happening for too long now. Back when this app first came out this was not an issue. Summary: I don’t understand the need to keep us in portrait mode or not allow the app to work upside down. Those are Silly things that are easy to fix and improve the user experience. I run a dedicated GPS along this app because it’s such a pain to use. All my buddies have Polaris and this app is such a pain that no one wants to use it even though the group ride is cool when it works. I’m still hoping one day these long standing issues are fixed so we can enjoy it again. Until then I recommend using a different GPS for your trail ride. “GPS Tracks” and “UTV Trails” are great alternatives.

I’ve found updates are horrible and app is glitchy when updating. Works better to delete and reinstall app completely.
Missing control bar

The control bar does not display on the lower part of the screen. I installed the app on 4-29-18 and this latest version is missing the control bar at the bottom of the screen on my iPad with the latest IOS version.

I had the same white screen issue and thought it was just needing an update. I ended up deleting the app from my phone then reinstalled it...works perfectly now! Thanks Polaris love the app!
