Just advertising?

I see no point to this app. There is no actual connection to either the Pod or PDM. It randomly pops up “tips” in my notifications and the app is just a list of tips and advertising for other products. I had hoped the Omnipod system would be modern enough to interface with smart phones, but not so. You can only manage the Pod via their archaic device that has a screen no better than my Nokia phone from 2001.

I have called to get assistance to access my account and reset my password numerous times on my account, installed and uninstalled app and I still can’t access anything. I thought this app was supposed to help and/or make the process of ordering simpler??? How when I can’t even access, grrrr!!!!!

This is a basic app that is good for keeping track of some of your OmniPod information. However there are some things lacking that would be very nice to have, especially with the new model of insulin pump PDM coming out in the first of 2019. It would be nice if the app had the capability of storing your OmniPod PDM set up information, so that you could enter the data such as your name, etc. into the app and have it transmitted over to the OmniPod PDM via Bluetooth or some other means. Furthermore, when the new OmniPod Dash system is released, it would be most convenient if we were able to store our current settings in the OmniPod app on the iOS system and then have it stored somewhere such as iCloud so that it could be downloaded into the new OmniPod Dash system.

Not sure why, but his app will only allow me to order pods and will not allow me to sign up for the recycling program or order accessories. This app should allow for more. It is user friendly, but very limited.

Can not even log in. Doesn’t have the I Agree button when you start app. Tried another phone and it wouldn’t accept user name and password. The web version is great. This app is garbage.

Another useless app from a health care company

I love my Omnipod, but this app is pretty useless. When I log in, nothing happens. It doesn’t recognize me logging in and gives no personal information.

I am an insulin pump user for many years, but I’m new to the OmniPod system. So far, I love it! Not being connected to a tube all the time is great. I never realized how many actions in my day were affected by the fact that I was connected to a tube. However, I will say as much as I like the pod technology, I’m less impressed with this app, and the pod control unit. Let’s just say it reminds me of my old Palm device from back in 2001. I don’t know, maybe it’s just me, but it feels pretty cheap. And the buttons are less than responsive, which is an understatement. It would be great if they would come into the modern world and have a phone app that you can actually control your Pods with. Now that would be fantastic! The Deltec Cosmo, had a very good system incorporated into a handheld Palm unit, which was state of the art at the time, until the greedy a-holes over at M-tronic put them out of business.
