App doesnt work properly

Podcast episode list doesn’t auto refresh. Need to unsubscribe and resubscribe EVERYDAY to download new content. Very annoying.
Unreliable with updating subscriptions

This is an update to an earlier review. RSS Radio has recurring problems with auto refreshing subscriptions that I have subscribing for years. There are problems where the app does not seem to be able to tell whether or not there is an internet connection and is unable to update the subscriptions with new podcasts. There does not seem to be any support or interest in fixing this problem from the software developer. Prior review---- I have had this app for about 3 years or so, but have been having numerous problems lately. It has been buggy over the last several months a recent upgrade. I have the latest OS for my IPAD installed. The problem I have is that the app will hang when the RSS logo display appears and I have to either reboot my IPAD or usually hit the home key to exit the app. I was able to eventually use the app by turning off cellular service and WIFI connections. I guessed that perhaps the database had become corrupt so I deleted the older podcasts. There were close to 4500 minutes on the default playlist so it took several hours to delete old downloaded podcasts that were no longer wanted to be listened to. After I deleted the large number of podcasts to about 75 minutes I was able to turn the WIFI on and also use cellular service to actually download podcasts again. This worked for about 5 days or so, but today RSSradio app is once again locking up on the RSSradio logo and NOT allowing me to get into the application and listen to my downloads. Help information on RSSRadio on fixing problems is non-existent from the support page for Dorado. I would be interested if anyone else has had similar experience and if there is another Podcast download app that works any better. I have been happy with this app for many years now, but now am quite disappointed with its performance. I would have given the app 4 or 5 stars initially for the first several years of use, but now it deserves 1 or 2 stars. I have numerous apps on my IPAD with no similar type of problems as I have experienced with this application.
Great App For Listening To Podcasts

This is a great app for listening to podcasts. It’s quick and easy to download podcasts and manage them in the play queue. I really enjoy the Audio Compressor function to level audio volume during playback; and also the Silence Skip function which, as you might guess from the name, skips through areas of momentary silence during playback to speed up listening times. I’ve never had any problems or crashes using the app on iPhone 7 Plus. Awesome app, keep up the good work!

It’s a great app I use everyday but I haven’t referenced it relevant to other apps. I wish it could be used with Alexa or Google Voice.

I’ve been trying to contact someone about the app not opening on my iPhone 8 & it seems impossible to get ahold of someone. I’ve been having to keep my old iPhone around just to listen.....

Great App! Has everything i wanted in a podcast app. Only thing I would change is to make finding the options a little more user friendly but you can figure it all out quickly.
