Played for a day now nothing to do

Fun game, but there is just not a lot to do. You can build your city pretty freely with little to no complication, there are quests but they stopping popping up as often around lvl 30/40. I haven’t tried sandbox mode but I feel like the main game is enough of a sandbox as is. Natural disasters are nothing but I minor inconvenience as you are reimbursed immediately and the build times are next to nothing. I soaked a lot of hours into this day one but I don’t see much growth.

Great game, lots of potential

Imagine an updated version of Sim City Classic with modern gameplay mechanics, better graphics, and no F2P energy system; if that sounds good to you, then you'll love Pocket City. The game is well worth the premium price and is better than any of the freemium city-building sims on the App Store. —Feedback for the Developer— I like the quest/XP system, but around level 60, things start to slow down. On medium difficulty I gradually ran out of things to do by level 80, at which point I completed all available quests and maxed out my city's usable land. To continue leveling I had to spam disasters and repeatedly raze and rezone huge tracts of land to gain XP—needless to say, slightly immersion breaking. Issues with XP/leveling are related to issues with replayability. By the time I finally unlocked the space rocket (using the hackish method mentioned earlier), there wasn't anything left to do in the game except level endlessly. I started a new city, and while the gameplay was still fun, it felt like I was essentially just repeating the exact same process with a slightly different layout. Because there's only a handful of unique buildings in the game, my different cities didn't look or feel unique. Perhaps replayability could be enhanced by adding a "retirement" feature which allows players to unlock new climates and special buildings. Retired cities could remain connected to the player's current city through a system of trade or tourism, with new quests and city bonuses unlocked as the player progresses through the game. This would encourage players to retire once a city reaches its maximum potential rather than at a certain XP level, which artificially drags out the game. Also, maybe special buildings could have certain city or environmental requirements so the player can't easily build all of them in the same playthrough. I don't know if that would be easy to implement as a patch, but I would definitely be willing to pay for these features as an IAP.

Landscape mode

I usually don’t review games, but I just wanted to say how much I love playing Pocket City. One thing I would like to have in this game is the ability to use landscape mode!

Worse than sim city

The only redeeming quality is the sandbox mode. The controls are clunky and the game is just hard to navigate. The buildings have little variation and there is no way to control what size building you want, it’s just random. This game is just so limited.

HELP ME

Kitty Cat Lover 22??

I love this game and it is really fun but recently a volcano spawned and destroyed part of my city and it also destroyed the city hall. When I selected rebuild it never rebuilt city hall and now I don’t have one and I can’t collect taxes or anything in my city... please fix this ?

Sim City for IOS

Love this game and just can’t put it down. However, is there any way you could customize the gameplay. I would like to play with everything unlocked but start out with X amount of money. Don’t get me wrong love the game just get bored of waiting to unlock everything.

Buy This: If You Love and Care About Amazing Games

This is a phenomenal game-no doubt. But a lot of great games are ruined by micro transactions, which are an abomination in most cases. This game gets its right, and delivers an addictive fun game play at a predictable price. And I’d gladly pay double to these devs simply for showing that they truly care about putting out quality value. Buy this game and support the devs, then have a blast!

Fantastic

Great game. We need more games like this without micro transactions

Great Game butttt...

Please make the maps bigger. I complete one city in a day. That was it can be a ongoing game.
