-Choose to play any of the 250+ songs and scales from our music library.
-You can share your experience by recording a performance and sending it to friends, family, and teachers. You can also include your proficiency score and performance history.
-You can choose the settings that complement your skill.
-Using the default Wait Mode, the app steps through each note of the song waiting for you to play the correct pitch and duration.
-At the end of each song you are presented with a proficiency score showing how many of each note were played correctly on the first attempt.
-Cumulative statistics of the total correct notes, consecutive correct notes, and songs played correctly are available.
-The Stats-display presents a list of all the songs, showing which you have played, highest score, and how many of the notes you were able to play.
-The History feature keeps track of scores for each performance of each song you have played.
-Beginners can choose to have finger charts displayed under each note on the staff as they play.
-Touching the finger chart lets you hear that note.
-Pushing the play button allows you to hear the whole song.
-You can also choose to display only the note names under the staff, or to see a full screen of music.
-You can enable Manual mode and play the song with your own interpretation, using the display like traditional sheet music.
-The Transposition feature lets you shift the pitch of a song's notes, up or down allowing you to customize the range of a song.
-Using Game Center you can track and share your stats and your song progress.
-The Tempo feature allows you to adjust the tempo of the song.
-The Loop option allows you to play a song over and over uninterrupted.
-PlayAlong Trumpet comes with more than 100 free songs.
-The Categorized Song Page presents you with additional songs, and scales from our expanding library. The song list includes ratings of Easy, Intermediate, and Advanced to help you choose your next piece.

This is a fantastic app! I am a trumpet teacher and this has been perfect to use with online lessons during Covid-19. My students love it! I also really like the song selections, the flexibility (change tempo, transpose, options to view note names and fingerings, etc). If you're creative you can find many effective ways to practice with this app. For instance, a student can first listen to the song a few times without playing. Then he/she can play the song and the app will listen and indicate when the correct notes have been played. The student can start practicing with the fingerings and note names being shown, but then gradually can remove those aids and just play from the notes only. As a final step, he/she can play along with the recording of the song. Of course all of this can be done first at a slower tempo and then gradually with increased tempo. I do a lot of work with my students on scales and transposition, so using the transpose feature in this app opens up a world of other possibilities for each song as well. Thank you for developing such a useful and fun app!

Ok so the app is great and all but... you guys gave me baby songs and now your saying we have to pay if we want to get more songs?!?!? Some parents don’t want to pay for songs.....so I am very very disappointed with this....? and some of us would like to be challenged. Also this thing is tone deaf, how does a high pitched A sound like a low D???!!!??. Maybe an update guys..?

Very pleased with this app so far! I used to play brass when I was younger, but it’s been so long that I’m practically starting over from scratch. This app makes me feel semi-competent lol. Would recommend!!

I got this app, and I have to buy most of the songs!? I’m only in middle school! All these songs are too babyish and wrong! I played #f right, but the app told me I was doing it wrong! DO NOT GET THIS APP IF YOU GET FRUSTRATED VERY EASILY

I take trumpet lessons so I know how to play I’ve been playing for 1 year and so I played an e right and it wouldn’t let me go onto the next note and made me keep playing until it sounded like a d?

I’m giving only two stars because I will play the exact same note twice and it will say the first one is correct, but not the second one. AND THEY ARE THE EXACT SAME NOTES! But, besides that, this is and awesome app, and if they fix that bug I will definently give this 5 stars. Once again, please fix this terrible bug!!!!
