Nice try. But you can't put an accidental in a measure and expect it to be cancelled in the same measure without a natural sign. It is hard enough to get students to remember hidden accidentals.
App is tone deaf

This app needs a better note identification, when playing a low Ab it tried to put it on the staff or as an Eb. So if you have problems getting the notes it not your fault.

As a professional music teacher, I would not recommend this. The first song is incomplete and inaccurate (Hot Cross Buns). Beginners do not begin by playing accidentals. Trumpets begin on c, d, and e. Songs need to be written for beginners to achieve immediate success. This app is not the app for that.
Who does that?

I'm sorry, but when I teach Hot Cross Buns on a trumpet, it doesn't start with G#, F#, E. This app could be great if it was created with true band methodology. Try again! I was looking for an app similar to JoyTunes Recorder Master... This isn't it

This app series has promise. However, you don't seem to have any idea what beginners should know about notation.

It doesn't take some of the lower notes you play and when you play the example thing the virtual trumpet sounds horrible it is good some of the time.
Descent play along app for beginners and intermediate players

It has a few bugs, such accidentals not being carried throughout measure, but over it works fine. I used it to help me transpose from Bb trumpet to the rare G trumpet.

I been playing for over four and a half years. I think I know how to play. I'm first chair out of seven in my high school band, and there's only one other girl, and I'm a freshman, and half the others are sophomores or juniors. I think I'm a decent trumpet player. This thing tripped me up. An accidental should be for the whole bar, but not with this thing. And I played F# when it told me to but it said I didn't so I thought, "screw you." And i was so excited when I saw "Danny Boy" and "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" were on here. Either the App Store sends me an update to make accidentals last the whole bar or I'm deleting it in a week.

Just got a trumpet. Knew nothing about it. Can play hot cross buns after a few hours practice. Good for basics.
