How do I find the common name? What characteristics does the plant have. How do I find out how often to water, sun or shade, etc?

So fun! If we see a plant all we have to do is take a picture and voila! A name.

I’ve taken snaps of all kinds of common ornamental trees and fruit trees around my yard and it ends up being accurate about 20% of the time. Yes.. I am taking the pictures correctly. No.. I do not want an offer to watch the million and one instructional YouTube videos you give everyone else. I have seen enough of this app to know it is hit or miss at best. I snapped a pic of a simple Papaya tree in my yard.. fruit and all included in the snap, and it literally told me it was everything BUT Papaya. C’mon guys.. your accuracy is lacking in a big way.. and continuing to answer everyone’s complaints with copy/paste passive-aggressive “solutions” that don’t work for any of these people, is not the answer. I will wait for my response from you that will be the exact same response you give to everyone else explaining how I need to learn how to take pictures with my phone.. ? Let the app deletion commence.

I had this installed for 5 minutes before dumping it. It failed to identify a river birch, an oak, holly plant, and rosemary. I used these because they were in my yard and I already knew what they were. In all cases it came up with several guesses that weren’t even close. Plonk!
