Only works live??

Plant snap used to let you access photos. Now you have to have the app open when you take a photo for it to identify. This is just stupid. I don’t want the app on while I’m out walking in the woods. I do want to identify photos I have. They did this before but they fixed it but now I have a feeling I’m looking for another plant app.

More wrongs than rights

Jimmyddirtbikes

At first this app seemed spot on but lately I get so many wrong identities that it’s accuracy is very questionable. The more I use it the worse it gets. I try multiple photos, angles and lighting and constantly get I.D.’s that aren’t even close.

Want A keep charging me!

cherylgrams

According to Apple my subscription does not expire until June 2022 however I no longer have the app on my phone so I re-download it and what are you guess not only does it want to charge me again for a new subscription but it’s over double the amount that I originally paid. I originally paid 899 for a year now it wants 1999 for a year and it will not let me get past that I am not at all happy with this program because half the time when I did have it it didn’t recognize my plants at all don’t waste your time or your money

Not accurate

Grayson.M

I download this app cuz i keep forgetting what my plants are, and to test if it was accurate I tested it on my plaint that I know is a starling ivy because of the label on it but it keeps telling me it some tipe of Anthuriums magnificum, idk if I am talking the picture wrong but don’t recommend using this app.

AWFUL

mdoyle958

This app is an absolute joke. It’s ability to correctly identify plants is appalling. My confidence in its ability to correctly identify plants is zero based on my experience with it. I have to take numerous pictures to attempt to get an identification and with each picture I get different answers. How a cedar tree can be identified as sage or rosemary is beyond me. The list goes on and on. Incapable of identifying a basic houseplant. Numerous ads now. I can’t believe I paid for this garbage. Don’t waste your money!!!

In awe

Humble toe

This is an amazing use of technology. I know know the names of the plants and trees around me and wherever I go. The community is fun too.

TOTALLY I ACCURATE PKANT IDENTIFICATION

Disappointed in Chicag

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. This app is a scam & you get very little for your money. I've contacted the appropriate monitoring agencies. I took a picture of Sunset Hyssop (a gasta he rupestres), the app I'D the plant as a Pinl Cigar plant (cuphea cyanea)-

The app got my first 2 plants wrong!

damoon2

It thought my echeveria succulent was a pinecone.. and my burros tail a weed!! Really! Other apps are much better

Aster Tataricus

Dianemrpd

I have taken three individual photos of my Aster plant that I know what it is, just to test this app. it has incorrectly identified each of the three photos, as three different plants, none of which are correct.

Floods me with ads, then can’t even identify a plant properly

HaroldKNT

Said my houseplant is a red banana plant. In 7 years it has literally never grown a single banana. Made money off me with ad revenue but can’t even deliver a service to compensate for it.
