Nothing worked

Лиса129191

I would love to use this app, but when I downloaded it, nothing worked. It said error when I took photos of plants, and it didn’t save any of the photos. I checked to make sure the app had access to photos and other settings and all was good there; so it’s the app that didn’t work.

Has never not crashed

bonojovi69

I keep trying to use this but every time it crashes when I submit a photo. I keep hoping the next update will fix it but it hasn’t yet. I have a brand new iPhone X running the most up to date iOS

crashes, waste of time

Fail waste of time

updated ios to most recent, app is up to date. phone has no other processes running but app is slow & keeps crashing and making my phone hot. also the tap the circle part is an unfair way to use up the free 10 photos per day, because the big circle moves down over the button to navigate to your photo library instead of taking a live photo. Once i got a photo chosen, the App crashed 3-5 times. Waste of time.

Doesn’t work

I’ll snap a clear picture, it’ll search its database, and then come back with a plant that looks NOTHING like the plant I snapped a picture of. I’m bummed because I thought this would work well - instead I just wasted money

Not identifying plants

Stratigo1

I wanted to get a tree identified, so I paid for the monthly service and sent the picture for identification and never heard anything back. I'm deleting this app. It's also not able to correctly identify many shrubs in my ward. 2/3 don't come up correctly. Very disappointed. Mostly disappointed that i paid to get a tree identified and I got nothing.

Great app

This app has helped me identify & clear up debates about many plants. Thanks.

Become Plant Smart

You quickly learn so much about the plants around you’re home. I’m glad I found the app.

Usually never write reviews but this app is worth one.

I had the same idea for this app to snap and I’d flora &fauna back with iPhone 3 and so glad that others had it too to make it possible. Been using this app for a few days and it’s great, some times some IDs get mess up even if you follow the instructions but it’s definitely not broken like some people have been committing and like any computers recognition software there’s never always 100% but if you take another pic of a different sister flower or leaf you’ll get it at least 9/10 times what your looking for. An ideas to make it more interactive is to have & earn badges that you can collect when you find and snap different species and maybe even colors. kind of like a Pokédex style.

Error on saving info

kaelaschott

Keeps saying there’s an error on saving the info I find. And the first thing I tested was incorrect.

Really bad app.

I was hoping that this app would work. Since I downloaded it however, it has not correctly identified one single plant and/or tree that I have taken a picture of. I am a tour guide in Colorado & perhaps it is the limitation of cell service in some of the areas that I tour my guests in. Since I was having trouble with it I thought I would try it in an area with full service & a very obvious tree, the Aspen. Sadly, misidentified that tree as well. I then tried it on a flower known as a “sky pilot.” It completely missed that one as well.
