Good but could be great

There’s a few missing features I’d love here: * ability to resize the canvas mid-design * an easy selectable pallet of colors (most recently used) * when selecting colors, if I’m selecting one of the recent colors, automatically take me back to the canvas (shouldn’t have to press done) * ability to save pallets of recently used colors to a saved list (trees, urban, water, etc)

Great app!

I’ve been looking for a good app to create pixel art and this is the best one. I tried a lot of the free ones and couldn’t really find one that I liked. I broke down and bought this one and I’m glad I did. It has everything I was looking for. The only way I think to make it better is to be able to animate and maybe add sounds to your pixel art.

AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

So cool! I’m just scratching surface, but are there dithering tools? Also, would be cool to have some sort of smudge and/or blending tools. Also, custom canvas size larger than 512x512 would be nice. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

pretty cool! but..

i’ve been using this app for a bit and it’s pretty cool! it has some nice features but i really don’t like the lack of transforming tools. the only things you can do are flip your art in different directions and it’d be a lot more helpful if you could move things around. a selection tool would be useful too. i also believe the app is a bit overpriced, but that may just be me. overall, though, it’s a pretty nice app and i enjoy using it.

Great!

Very easy to use, and full of useful features. I am bummed the Apple Watch app silently went away, though.

Would be perfect
Conch shell

It would be a perfect app if it weren't for all of the lag it creates when placing pixels

Good with serious shortfalls

Kudos to the developers on this one. Creating a pixelart studio for use on a small device is hard. The app seemed to contain most of what I would need to sit back and create pixelart. However there are a couple key things missing. One being zoom. It's a small screen, I need to be able to zoom like crazy (possibly with a zoomed out mini window). I'll be asking for a refund until some things are built out.

Pretty cool, but needs some things

I just bought this app, the first thing I noticed was that the grid doesn't show up. I toggled the switch on and off but nothing had shown up. I would also like to be able to import a picture. Have it in the background so I can essentially trace an image. With an option to change the opacity. Other than that, it has been the best pixel maker I have come across!

An Excellent Pixel Art App

This app is very close to perfect for my needs. It has many of the tools in a Photoshop–like app, but for pixel art. The interface is clean and relatively easy to understand quickly. So far I have not been able to figure out how to force lines to stick to 90° or 45° angles. Additionally, I REALLY wish more of the numbers were tap-able to be able to change them via typing in a number. What I mean by that, is that if, for example, I wanted to change the size of the pencil tool to a specific size, I couldn't just tap the current size and type in "6" to get a 6-pixel pencil. The sliders can get a bit squirrelly at times, and when I don't have my stylus on hand, this can be frustrating. Also, for those complaining about the lack of grid, it only displays when you zoom up to a certain zoom factor. I believe the app creator did this to minimize visual clutter when zoomed out, and to reduce false visual info. I do think, however, that the point at which the grid disappears could be adjusted slightly. Overall, this is a fantastic app for pixel art creation, and I would highly recommend it. Well worth the money.

Perfect!
