Real gem that doesn't hustle you for IAPs

Rarely write reviews. This game is solid. So many opportunities for in game currency (gems) that you don't feel pressured to pay2play. I actually feel more encouraged to purchase to support the devs because of this. Additionally, coding logic is awesome. Got d/ced during my fishing attempt and game allows me to continue where left off when I log back in Edit: customer support for the game is terrible. One of the IAPs for a ship upgrade has a terribly misleading title. You think you're getting the full upgrade for the ship when in actuality only one component of the upgrade. Customer service refuses to make things right for their misleading title. Downgrading to 1 star.
Internet error

It was a great game until it decided to tell my internet is wobbly. Yet my internet is working fine for everything other than this game. If that error goes away this game will get 5 stars

Really fun game with lots to do but I can't use my blacksmith for some reason. I'm level 26 and every time I try I can't make anything, my ingredients don't show up. It'd be nice if they fixed this

It's a fun game, but it lags a lot for me. Also, I feel like the game lets people who purchase have an advantage even if the player is a higher rank.
"Free'able" but definitely not to be fully trusted

Unlike others, with IAP and other missing resource concerns, my IAP were fine- aside from it being unclear that the 'bonus' on first purchase did not count as 'purchased.' However, with the 'time' when the 'day' rolls over is/was not consistent between servers (prior to the 'Winter' update at least), and it appearing to have changed for at least S2/"Drunken Shanty" along with the Thanksgiving event ending considerably sooner than the 200+ hour timer indicated with a mandatory client update (costing me the event limited incentive by a few hours).... Personally I regret the small IAP's I did, but so far there has been active development/attempted-improvements, however, I do not feel that I can trust the information being presented within the application.

I loved this game, I was level 42, and then all of a sudden it stopped loading. It would open up the game, but the bar that had your username and server wouldn't appear. I though no biggie, they'll fix this when they update. It's been several weeks, they've updated, and the problem was not fixed. So I deleted the game and redownloaded it, and it brings up the username bar. Hooray! Right? Wrong. What kind of game doesn't let you type in your username? This game. I had a random username before that I had written down, but in this game you aren't allowed to type in your username to get back into your old account. You're only allowed to have a new one apparently. Deleting. Never coming back. Thanks pirate empire.

being playing for a long time, had a nice level 52, was pretty decent on my boat or boats i should say, had some diaz...HAD all of that, until you guys made an update...and the only server i see is QA....what is going on? I LOST ALL :(
