It’s nice that we can rearrange pins in a board, but can we please be able to delete them from a board entirely by holding down on the pin like we used to? Can there be a ”rearrange” button instead of having it work the same way as deleting used to? Also, I wish the little details didn’t show up under the pins and they were just the pictures by themselves, there’s no need to put my name under the pins on my own board, I KNOW I put them there. Also, can there PLEASE be an option to stop getting notifications from people trying pins or commenting on them? I had to delete 2 boards because people kept trying the pins and I got like 30 notifications from strangers on a pin that’s not even mine to start with when I couldn’t care less. Other than those things, I enjoy the app.

I love the idea of offering recipes and other things besides quotes. It’s an all rounded app!?
New version is not intuitive

I hate the new version where if you hold down you no longer have the options, you can only rearrange. I see how you might think normal users would like that but I really don’t like it. I would much rather have kept the capability to easily edit, move, share, etc. from the thumbnail. This is a much less enjoyable platform now that it’s become like Instagram and Facebook. Everyone selling things to you constantly, no genuine recommendations, and a lot of false narratives being put out for us to swoon over is getting old. Blah.
App refreshes if you leave it for any amount of time

I’ve had Pinterest for years and I’ve always loved it! Loved getting multiple examples of similar things and I love browsing for hours. The only complaint I have is that if you leave the app and open another, (not force closing it or anything) it refreshes. Or at least mine has been doing that. I’ll be looking through a lot of tattoos and get a text message, and answer it, and when I double click and go back to where I was, it reloads my homepage with renewed pins relevant to my interests rather than staying where I just was a moment ago. It’s a small thing but can be very frustrating when you’re looking for a specific thing or just digging through a search.
Pinterest is great.

Update 2/19/2018. First, how do I unhide a pin I hid by accident. Second, why am I seeing the same pin I just pinned over and over. I follow various topics and now only a select few topic pins show in my feed. Can you add option to show only pins from those I follow. If I want to see more I can go to explore page. Update 4/2017. Once again unnecessary updates applied to app. No pin descriptions, no pinner id to see if I'm even following, moving save button so I need to scroll to save. Update 11/2016. I like Pinterest even with it's annoying ads and bugs but I do not like the latest update combining the news and you notifications. I would occasionally look at the Pinterest if people who repinned my pins thinking we may have some interests in common. Now it's a hot mess and I will probably be pinning less now. Can we please put it back. It wasn't broken to begin with, why fix it. Thank you. Really like Pinterest but when I tap on a pin the comments/description do not show up unless I go back and tap the pin a second time. This extra back and forth is a nuisance. This used to work fine maybe just a bug that needs to be corrected. Thank you.

I have to say, Pinterest is my favorite app, and I find it so useful and helpful to store and organize all of my ideas and inspirations. I can even use it to plan projects! However, the only reason I didn’t give this app five stars, is because it seems to always be glitching when Pinterest is implementing new updates. While I understand that this is all part of maintaining a social media platform, it would be nice to get an announcement ahead of time, and know what the new update is once it is all done being implemented. My biggest complaint is that Pinterest doesn’t really communicate with their users. In my case in particular, I use Pinterest for my business, so if it’s down for any reason it can be hugely disruptive. If I could communicate to my clients what’s going on, it would be a lot less stressful and they’d be a little more understanding.
