Update bad! :(

What happened?! I had a notification about someone leaving a comment on a pin but when I checked my notifications on Pinterest there were non. All it has now is a section for messages and a section showing me what my fellow pinners are doing. It no longer shows what pins ppl have repinned or liked. What happened in this update?! Not liking this newest update!

With the newest update, not only can I no longer read descriptions or comments on all the pins, I can't read my own pins' descriptions to see what I had saved about each of them. But hey, it makes a cleaner design, so it must be good right? /s Pinterest needs to fire their designer and get their act together. Just because you're super popular now doesn't mean you can get rid of everything your users like and expect people to stay around. I'm already looking into alternative apps to prepare myself for when this company drives themselves into the ground. The best part is contacting customer support, them telling me that I should be seeing descriptions and implying I'm retarded because I can't, and that I can always go into the edit button to see the description. Yea that's ideal for every pin I want to read the description of.

I've been through some horrific updates, but this one takes the cake! The thing I want you guys to do is fix the group board messenger thing. It's stupid. I don't care if someone comments on a pin. I don't care if someone pins something to said board. Just go back to how it was. A minor problems the having to open a pin twice. This problem has been around for the past few updates. Honestly I thought it would end but no it's still a problem. Please fix these things.

GUYS. READ THIS. THE NEW UPDATE HAS MADE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO MESSAGE AND POSSIBLY COMMENT. I AM IN A SITUATION WHERE I NEED TO BE ABLE TO CONTACT ORHER PINNERS (being there to listen, help plan an engagement) AND IF I CANT EVEN MESSAGE, WE'RE DONE FOR. YOU HAD BETTER FIX THIS BY THE NEXT UPDATE OR ILL NEVER USE YOUR STUPID APP AGAIN. Ugh.

My app worked fine until the latest update now no matter what I try it shows no images. Very disappointed because I love Pinterest please fix!

So the idea for a board chat isn't bad. It's a good idea, in fact. However, it quickly turns bad when it notifies you of every little thing a group board of 10+ makes, and you have no choice to leave big, spammy chat. It would really be great if this were to be fixed in the future.

I give Pinterest a ?? for the profile design, their attitude towards their customers and their always something is broken app. This new "tried" feature is nothing but another way for Pinterest to use their users. We do the work by providing feedback and they pocket the money. No thanks! Then, they have the audacity to flood the AppStore with fake reviews.
Ads with sound even on silent mode

New update includes promoted (paid for) pins that are videos with SOUND, even with the device set to SILENTLY mode!! Why would any app do this? Who wants that?! The second one I got was an ad for a RATED R MOVIE (sound, sex in bed, and murder content)!! Yeah, I set the "I'm not into this pin" but come on, I'm here for do it yourself projects, not obnoxiously inappropriate content. Forget ever again letting my kids look through that unicorns board I made for them. Give us control to turn off sound, and do not serve up rated R content unexpectedly. And for pete's sake, respect the device silent mode setting.
