Stop ad audio interrupting. Make links clickable

1) Stop ad audio interrupting the music I am listening to. It makes me want to exit out of the app every time. I don’t want to listen to the ad audio if I have music (eg spotify) playing. 2) Please fix the “Organize” function. It recently became slightly better! But it would be easier if pins changed order in linear fashion, not doing the weird swap location thing. Also when you’re organizing it displays with three columns, it then displays entirely different (two columns) in the actual board. 3) Please make links in comments clickable, or at the very least make the text able to be copied. People often share links and the mobile app does not allow you to click on them in any way. 4) Can you make it so the home screen doesn’t refresh automatically? If my Screen Time gives me a notification or I accidentally swipe down, the entire Home Screen re-loads and I lose whatever I was looking at unless I’ve clicked on a specific pin. Please make it so the homepage doesn’t arbitrarily re-load. Give me the option to click on something if I want to load new content. Those are my four complaints, otherwise I love this app. I love being able to organize things in ways that make sense for my brain, and I’ve had this app for years and love a lot of the organizational changes that have been made. Thank you!

Pinterest is a very enjoyable photograph viewing site ie ‘good time killer’ when on the world wide web :-)
Used to love, now it’s just ads and data farming

I get that ads allow free use for apps, but this is ridiculous. I’m a long time avid Pinterest user. It was great for hobbies and design inspiration/ideas. I can now only interact with the app for a few minutes at most because I’m constantly bombarded with ads and feed topics for something I searched ONCE that I’m not interested in. I’ve tried using the “stop seeing this pin” or “stop recommending this” option and it does not work so now I go straight to DuckDuckGo to prevent altering the entire makeup of my feed. Pinterest presents the illusion of being able to tune your feed, but you don’t really have control over it. Pinterest no longer makes me feel like an avid hobbyist. It feels like they’re trying SO hard to make money off me and it interferes with my ability to use the app the way it was originally intended and the way I intended to. RIP old Pinterest, and I hope to god they don’t find a way to put ads on physical cork boards.

I loved this app for many different reasons but I’m finding it more annoying than enjoyable lately... why is it suddenly so hard to find related content in the sea of ads ?? I’m not against y’all trying to get a lil ad revenue but the fact that it’s overcrowding normal content and pushing the stuff I’m looking for further and further down is so disappointing. It’s also crazy annoying how the for you page isn’t “for me” anymore ?? I’m out there looking for more ideas to add to my boards and NONE of it is anything close to what I’ve been liking or interacting with at all.. it’s just a bunch of random ads mixed in with random content. It’s like it’s pushing stuff from another persons cookies. Completely out of my interests. Idk what they were trying to do there but I can’t imagine “giving people unrelated content to any of their interests” was on the list of things to make the app better.
