Man I missed playing pinochle... this game is definitely enjoyable, but my partner definitely has aggressive bidding tendencies. ?
Scoring is ludicrous

Enjoy the game but I am wondering how you can score over 1,000 points in a hand. I’m referring to Game Center where it keeps track of high scoring hands. The most I can get in double deck is around 300+ and that’s with either a double run, double or triple pinochle or double aces around. Tell me how to get over 1,000!

This use to be one of the games I frequently played until recently. If a person just want to have fun and not caring about cheating or knowing what the computer has, this is it. However, recently I noticed a tremendous amount of pop-ups after each hand informing you how your scores are being tallied and recorded. This is pure foolishness especially since you can cheat at will. I contacted the developer of the nuances, but to no avail. Their lack of support and attentiveness to my concerns forces me to give this game a 1 star rating.

Obviously whoever wrote the program for this game has never played it or just doesn't get the concept of pinochle. When the computer partner has a full rope with double aces and three losers he bitter bunches. What I wouldn't give for a hand like that So get real and learn the game before you write the program. Also the east and west always seem to get aces around or a double pinochle. Seems highly unfair. The name of the game is pinochle which means jack of diamonds and queen of spades. They should be passed together to make a double pinochle. Really the programmer should learn the game then write the program. Makes sense to me. This is really the worst version of pinochle. I would give this a zero star if I could. The north partner is absolutely useless. WORST GAME EVER!!!!!!!! I can’t believe whoever wrote this game would actually have north keep trump and send losers. AGAIN THIS IS THE WORST WRITTEN GAME EVER. When writing a program research the rules of the game first!!!!

After reading other reviews I felt compelled to offer my 2centz...... I’ve had this app for a few years now, and have played pinochle for a while (once played everyday for 5 years straight....??♂️) I usually spend at least an hour everyday using this app. I said that, to say this.....Considering you’re playing a card game that is 90% strategy, against and with a computer program that can’t reason, I’m satisfied. Naturally, I too have gripes, but I try to be realistic.....

I enjoy the game, my partner isn’t very bright so we go set a lot. But my biggest problem is that there too many double pinochle, I played for less then 1 hour and got 4 of them, what are the odds?

Every once in a while, when you get the bid, the app will automatically play the 1st card for you - a non-Ace giving the opponents the chance to cash their 1st Aces. This is cheating! Also can be frustrating. You’re way ahead and then five or more hands in a row, you and partner get bad hands, the opponents make their bids, and you can’t get at least 40% of the counters to score, or, with your good hand, you’re set because partner has no help or there’s unfavorable distribution.
