Levels?

Suze1960

The computer is dumb. I feel like I'm playing with a four year old. Can't you make this app with different levels?

Good programmer...pinochle player not so much.

tropicalgeezer

I enjoy playing this game, even though it was written by someone who really does not understand the tactics and strategies used by a good pinochle player. As a result, when North takes the bid, his cards are always played in the same way. This means he plays poorly more often than not.

Pinochle

Qutryup

Does the programmer know how to play pinochle? One does not "bid or pass" with a run". Nor do they pass with a bid of 35 when they already have a run!

Freezes

This app routinely freezes half way through a game. Very frustrating to have to start over. Please check your coding.

Doesn’t always value runs

Lpapag

It doesn’t make sense when my partner has a run - 15 points and doesn’t bid at 26 (opening bid for passing 4 cards). It then bids 40+ on a horrible playing hand but possible double pinochle. The game is mostly fun, but these 2 quirks need to be fixed.

Poor opponent bidding

GrammyJany

So tired of getting set because my partner does not bid correctly.

??battery drain

Greysix

Most recent update is causing the phone to get super hot and excessive battery drain. I have been using the app for a couple years now and this is the first time I have had an issue. Thanks to the developer for a good game.

Passing cards

Drembinski

Someone needs to tell the computer that if your partner calls diamonds or spades as trump, you ALWAYS pass j’s or q’s for pinochle!

East/West is bullet proof

Kayakor

Recently I have noticed that East/West has become nearly, but not completely immune from being set. They almost ALWAYS make the bid. Yet I frequently do not get the run. But at the same time I can win games. Is this a way to handicap to compensate for something? Added 9/1. I am more convinced than ever that the game seriously favors East/West, frequently granting crazy good cards, while I get set with what looks like could be equally good cards only to not get the one card I need. 10/31 a short note to say status quo. Very unbalanced towards east west and noticing a pattern. Loose a hand and the first hand of the next game is a winner. 11/12 I give up. Game seriously favors east/west. Deleting.

This is a good game, but... I can see what’s in the other players’ hands!

I love this game, but on all of the other card game apps from different companies, the other players’ hands are hidden. On this game, you can tell what cards the computers have, because each hand is arranged the same way and it shows the gaps from where the cards came out. The company should take this into consideration and make an update that hides the other players’ hands by only showing the table and shadows around the edges of the table.
