I am searching for a fairly easy photo scanner and I am using Pic Scanner. So far it seems easy to use but I will wait to purchase the “gold” edition until I have more usage.

This app works so well, scanning pictures is a breeze. I have many albums of old photos and finally decided to scan them but I was dreading it. This app makes it so easy. The customer support is beyond belief. Emailed a question on Saturday and received a response the same day-and then a follow up from them! If you buy Pic Scanner you won't be sorry.

I had such high hopes for this app. I downloaded CamScan and used them side-by-side, and I was surprised that this one was much worse than the CamScan, which was not meant for photos. Firstly, you have to be more precise with this app, whereas CamScan does a lot of the work for you. The quality of photos is also much poorer in this one. This app also makes it very difficult to store and share photos. You have to sign up for storage and use, otherwise you only get 12 scans and 12 shares. The app also doesn't let you share the original image. It crops the images for you and does a bad job, so you only get a teeny tiny portion of your photo. Since you can't share or upload the originals, this is a huge problem. I eventually started taking screen shots of my originals in order to get them, but of course this even further reduced quality. The setup is also not as intuitive as you would expect. Every time you open the app, you are prompted to buy storage. This is very obnoxious. CamScan does more work for you, is more intuitive to use, and makes sharing much easier. DO NOT download this app. It is simply not with the modern era. Other apps are easier to use and give you more control of sharing and editing.

Took 12 pics chopped them up cannot do a 5x9 cuts off parts of photo. Keeps asking to buy full version.
