I recently purchase the PicScan app. MOST IMPORTANT... My advice... read everything first... and the one thing you really need to be aware of up front, to save yourself some time... until you've saved your scans to somewhere outside the software, NEVER DELETE FROM THE CROPPED STORAGE... deleting from there deletes them everywhere.... even if you've built folders and thought you got them all secure inside a folder ... nope those will be deleted too if you delete from the cropped. I originally gave it a 1-star rating because my scans were coming out blurry. But with the tips they offered me I was able to correct that. I have since modified the rating to a 3-star, still somewhat low due to the amount of steps it takes to accomplish getting the copy of the photo from where it was taken to where I need it to be.

I bought this app to scan all our old photos and use them to make an album for our 25th wedding anniversary. The app works just great and I am happy to have all those fotos now digitalized. When I had a question for customer service about deleting off the scanned items they answered back with an hour with helpful easy instructions.

Upgraded to the premium version, Pic Scanner Gold. So worth it, both apps!
Rather than paying 2.99 to upgrade- go to the "Gold" version at $4.99

I'm a little miffed that I didn't know this ahead of time! Have the iPhone 6, so I know I'm getting a good pic. Loved the link to the website with tutorial. Great bonus. But... I've a lot of photo albums, dating back to the 30's. And the 'Gold' version is a better choice over the ability to scan an unlimited number of photos. As for you Google folks, the main reason I did choose this app was that Google was out of it. I only need the ability to grab the photo, and save to my computer, and only export what I love to my phone or iPad photo album.

This app is perfect! I am visiting my brother who recently inherited thousands of family photos, the app saved me buying a scanner and I just use my iPad. It is very easy to use and the one and only question I had was answered immediately- amazing! The quality of the photo scans is excellent providing you sit in good light. The ability to email copies to other relatives and to my own laptop makes this app totally perfect for my needs. Thank you for developing such a great app and charging such a low price.
