Nice and not a hassle

calleyanne

Some apps you download and it pushes to get the upgrade but This journal is really nice to use just to write whatever you please without being pushed to get the pro. Tho the pro is nice. You can still use the journal without the troubles of constant ads on updating.

Love it

I am replacing my social media posts with personal journal entries as a healthy private outlet.

Billing Problem

rasta_jr_man

How do I contact support or anyone at all that can resolve an issue I have with billing?

App syncing is always nonfunctional

Vbalto

I got this because it had the app that supposedly could sync. However every single time I open the app c months I get the message that “Sorry but we couldn’t sync your changes. Support has been notified and a fix will be issued shortly.” It has never ever worked. My entries in the app are trapped and separate from the others. I am so upset.

Penzu is an amazing app for writing journal. I stumbled upon it 5 years ago and have been actively using it to write about my day, important life events or the things that I do not feel comfortable sharing with anyone. I feel that maintaining a journal really helps and I love the reminiscing feature of penzu, reading my old posts is fun and great way to look back on how things have changed and how much you have grown. :)

Frustrating

Asca Everdean

I get emails about old posts I’ve written. This would be great but I broke my phones years ago. I’ve attempted to resign into the account years ago, reset my password and everything, but I always run into the same alert. “You need to become a pro user.” First of all... I can’t even get into an option to become a pro user. Second I thought the journal was free. Since I payed for pro once does that mean I’ll be locked out of my writings for the rest of my life? That’s ok I’ll just sit here and stew over the next journal entry you send me in a couple more years. :/

Private Journal at its best

I started journaling as a way to reflect. I love that Penzu offers the paisd version, that allowed me to have multiple journals. I gave one for very personal stuff and one for general stuff... that one, I can share with others. The personal one is protected by an additional password. The best about Penzu though, at least for me is The Looking Glass. This is the feature that sends you emails informing you of what you wrote in the past. Really cool.

Needs adjustable magnification or font size

TranslucentTiger

I have struggled in vain to make the type large enough to easily see on the screen but there is no adjustments available in this app. The only way to make this work is too type my text in a more flexible app and then copy and paste it in to Penzu. I have a number of journals in Penzu and have had a paid account there for several years but am using it less now because I cannot access it online using my IPad web browser (I have to get on a laptop or desktop computer) and the app is so unfriendly to a lower vision user.
