I was hoping that after time had passed since the previous reviews this app would have been better. I find that I can not click on slides in the stories or use the interactive maps recent stories have had. With that said I just wanted the app to get quick news which it does.

Recent update is a huge step back in usability..... Why was development time wasted on this?

The super local news and community app managed globally (or nationally) it is a good idea on paper, but requires a great execution... Patch is very far from being a good local source of information. The news are not super local, the content is not updated, the app UX keeps changing and they are not better in any new iteration. I was really excited with the concept, but 18months later, I just see quality going down and down...

I enjoy the content but feel it needs more work. More localized news and better sorting of articles. Ability to request alerts and updates-specifically for local transit like shortline and rockland coach buses, nj transit trains, and metro north.

could be easier to use, larger buttons or ways to search what your looking for. But works fine for checking local town events

I want to get a calendar view on what is happening locally but this never updates so the screen is full of old posts about snowstorms.

It's a pretty good source for local news in my city, but a lot of times the news is outdated.
