I read Patch almost every day for local news;it keeps me up to date on the fun things that are going on(plays,concerts,parades,street fairs)and the times and rules for same.Also,good for local road closings,petty crime...it is not trying to be the New York Times,nor does it need to be.It fills a void for me!

Looks like a few random items were thrown together by a poorly designed algorithm with mainly national stories, instead of actual local news. Also, failed to identify a sponsored ad as such, until after you click on it, even then not clearly identified as sponsored content. Deleted the app.

I love reading Wilmette's Patch! I grew up in Wilmette and now live in Orlando. Patch keeps me up to date about my hometown. The articles are well written and make me a little homesick!

Patch is a great app for keeping me informed of all the local news in my neighborhood! The notifications are also helpful in keeping me informed on breaking local news and weather.

asks to login EVERYTIME!! ?

i get notifications from this app all the the time, but as soon as i click to open the app and read it asks to login again. EVERYTIME! i don't have the patience or time to do that, unless something gets fixed or developers want to help it gets deleted.
