Much more convenient to pay this way. Works like it oughtta, but for that charge issue. Sequestering your $10 is a bit shady.

Very convenient. The only problem is if you're a commercial vehicle. If you get a ticket even if you paid the app the appeal needs to be on lawyer letterhead. Might as well pay the ticket. A scam for sure. Thanks Chicago!

App is crashing all the time especially when it’s time to renew the parking time. Chicago is trying to take your money by any means.
Functional but hidden fees

.35 cent fee for meter purchases under 2:00 hours That right there makes me feel like this is hardly a service and much more of an exploitation. Probably won’t continue using.
$10 hidden cost

The app requires a minimum $10 balance and won’t allow you to even begin at a meter unless you have enough to stay above $10. Don’t purchase unless you plan to pay for parking very often in Chicago. Also, note that they charge you extra if you don’t park for the maximum allotted time in a zone.
