ParentVUE

The ParentVUE Mobile application helps parents stay informed and connected by providing day-to-day insight into their child’s academic experience. ParentVUE Mobile for the iPhone/iPod Touch works with the Synergy™ student information system in much the same way as the ParentVUE web portal, allowing parents to access near real-time information on assignments and scores, attendance, and demographic information. ParentVUE offers parents a single sign-on to view all of their children’s information regardless of school.

How to find District URL and Login Information:

The ParentVUE app uses the same user login as the web-based ParentVUE portal. If you need help
please contact your School District’s Administration office for access URL and ParentVUE login information.

Requirements:

• Only school districts using the Synergy™ student information system version 6.5 and higher can support the ParentVUE for the iPhone application.
• Requires wireless or 3G Internet connection.
• The ParentVUE Mobile for the iPhone/iPod Touch app uses same user login as the web-based ParentVUE portal. Please contact your School District’s Administration office to verify Synergy™ version and ParentVUE login information.

Both student Vue and this app are terrible, it’s glitchy, not updated, difficult for the eyes and difficulty to understand. I subscribed to all the notifications and have yet to receive 1. Technology all across the board has failed society in general, and this App and Student Vue has not made it any better. Be Better because this isn’t it!

This is one of the worst, buggiest apps I have ever been forced to deal with. My school district forces me to use ParentVue to email teachers, but the email function is completely broken. The notifications are erratic and buggy, it’s not remotely intuitive, and is honestly just stressful. You’re better off logging into their website and forcing it to show you the desktop site on your phone. (Their mobile site is also trash.)

I updated the app and now it won’t open anything for my student. I get an error message “Listener could not find available handler with matching protocol stack”. Please fix!

Nothing ever works correctly. I can’t reply to any emails. The only thing this app is good for is checking grades.

This app freezes! You have to delete your messages one by one. It freezes after the second message; it repeats itself over and over!

Keeps force closing and already logged back in three times.

This is my first year using the app and every time I login it shows unread messages, but the messages have been read and opened by me numerous times. I can’t figure out how to mark them as read or delete them. I won’t know when there’s actually a new message for me to look at since the old ones keep showing up as new. It’s very annoying!

This has to be the worse website ever created. It doesn’t matter if you download the app or use the website it is an awful, poorly designed application. Why clay county school would discontinue what we had and start with this means we need new leadership.
