Originally had PaperKarma prior to subscription model. Deleted to save space and started shredding junk mail. However, I recently redownloaded only to be shocked after 4-5 unsubscribes I would be forced to pay for this service for a monthly rate. I don’t find this app to be worth a monthly subscription rate and will be deleting again. Maybe the creators can think of a better way to keep their product free. Will be shredding junk mail again...

Not sure why but this app just doesn’t work on my iPad. The trial worked. Nothing after subscribing.
Scam? Possible - hasn’t stopped any junk mail

I was excited to use this app and eagerly scanned junk mail. They collected my personal information (name, address), which made sense for this situation. However, I was only able to “unsubscribe” from 4 pieces of junk mail without paying. Jump to several months later and I’m STILL receiving junk mail from the places I used Paper Karma for AND I’m getting more junk mail than ever before. The increase in junk mail might be a coincidence, but the failure to unsubscribe me in the first place is giving me serious doubts. IF they wanted to collect names and addresses to sell to companies to increase junk mail, this would be the perfect model to do it. Regardless, this app has proven worthless (possibly less than worthless because I’m worse off than when I started). Please don’t make the same mistake I did.

Hello, I joined PK and love it after 90 days. Everything but a few mailers I have been bombarded with since my father passed away finally started to stop. As POA for my Mother now Social Security death records makes all widows/widowers vulnerable to every non profit and political organization to ask for any leftovers or cash. The scams are another story and flood the mailbox. My Mother now 85 thinks they are bills sometimes. Thank you for everything you are doing!

This developer may very well send a desist request to junk mailers on your behalf, but what they hope you don’t know is that those mailers are not legally obligated to honor a request by someone else on your behalf. They’ll take your money and perform a service, but be aware that their service could have literally no effect on the amount of junk mail you receive.

Coming back from vacation without sorting thru stacks and stacks to find the like 4 important bills. Love it. Gunna start using with my parents as they as starting to get the scams too.

This app was a Godsend when it first came out. Now you are requiring a subscription payment, which I absolutely understand. I have no problem paying for the service contained in this app. What I do mind, however, is the amount. I feel that it is excessive. I would gladly pay an annual fee with restrictions placed on the number of requests. Why is that not an option... or perhaps a pay per use option?

Still didn’t fix the add address glitch that someone complained about last year, which makes the app totally useless.
