WiFi and Bluetooth setup/pairing are both flakey - iPhone XR iOS 12. Repeat often enough and it will finally work. Cannot leave app running on the phone because the phone gets really HOT and runs down the phone battery. So if you want geotagging you have to start the app on your phone every time you turn on the camera and wait for them to connect. A real PITA. Is this really the best Panasonic can do? Sorry I bought their camera.

This app is a complete piece of garbage. Sorry but it’s true. Panasonic just doesn’t care. They haven’t even bothered to update the UI in years. I LOVE my Panasonic camera and my only complaint is that there isn’t a working app. My camera rarely can connect to the app and even if it does it loses connectivity. And the times it does work the app is buggy and slow. The setup process each time to connect is a major pain too. It should be much easier and quicker to get the app connected each time. Even having Bluetooth in my new camera doesn’t seem to help at all. Panasonic PLEASE throw this out and make a new app that works. There is a new app for the S series that looks good but nothing new for the G series.

Bluetooth pairing always fails

Panasonic GX9 Bluetooth pairing consistently fails. The initial steps succeed but the app then needs WiFi connection as well. Even though the connection is successful, the app spins for a long time then gives up, concluding that “Registration has not been completed.” As a result, key functionality such as clock synchronization and geotagging doesn’t work. Panasonic should fix this broken app.

Look else where if you want to transfer videos over wifi

This app is terrible I haven’t been able to transfer anything to my phone other than photos. Horrible Horrible especially when I bought the camera for this reason. Update your app !!!!

Transfer from G9 to iPad works no GPS

I was hoping to get the GPS data from my iPad Pro to the G9 images files on the camera, but that function is not working. Instead of buying new lens I’ll be looking for a new camera. The ability to geotag images in y business is essential.

Absolutely love this app and all its glory. As of recent (iPhone 11) I’m having difficulties connecting to my camera. I see in the description that the latest os compatibility is as far as os 12? Please if we could get a update on this for os 13 users, that would be great!! Thank you!!

Simply doesn’t connect

I’ve connected the phone to the camera successfully via direct WiFi connection. I then open this app as instructed on the camera and it just spins telling me it’s connecting. No connection is ever made and if you let it, it will just spin indefinitely. Tried rebooting the phone and camera, same thing.

Worked perfectly with my iPhone 6 and previous IOS. Now it won’t connect the camera and phone through WiFi. The Bluetooth connections works but not the subsequent WiFi connection needed to use the app. Please fix!!

GPS Info always dropping

I only have a fracture of my picture on my Panasonic s1 that has gps data. It this the applications fault. 1. Please cache the gps to the last know location. This goes for time zones too. 2. If gps data is updated with time and Timezone, then update e previous picture in the batch with this new data
