This was the best app ever...until the new update

I’ve used Pages for years and loved it. I got the update and now wish I never had. When I’m typing, if I accidentally touch the screen, the keyboard disappears and I have to click the screen again to make it come back. I know this doesn’t sound like a big deal, but I use this for work every day and it’s killing me! PLEASE!!! bring back the old version!!! Thank you!!!

Before I updated Pages I loved it, it didn’t freeze up, or doesn’t let me into a document. It freezes up like 5 minutes after I start typing or it freezes up right when I start typing. It’s annoying!!?? and I always have to close the page. And when I go back into the app, I won’t let me in the documents. I hope you can fix this
Transition from MacBook Pro to iPad Pro

I used to use Pages on my MacBook Pro. After I went to an iPad Pro I discovered that documents that had created in Pages on the MacBook were limited when used and opened In the iPad Pro. For example I could not remove or modify dates in the footnote section of the page. There are other limitations on the iPad Pro as well. I wish there were some updates to Pages on the iOS system so I could take full advantage of the MacBook version of Pages. Also, I wish there were a way to use voice dictation to create documents in pages rather than creating them in notes and then copying and pasting. If there is a way I’d appreciate knowing about it.
Surprisingly great, but really flawed on iPhone

So far I’m really digging a lot of what’s on offer here, but typing on an iPhone is critically flawed. In word processing mode, he app still behaves a lot like a page layout tool, showing you a page with wide margins and zooming into the text to type, automatically. The problem with this is the zoomed in view is pointless for long form text: you see a couple of words to either side of the cursor, and fragments of the rows above and below. You can’t actually read more than a few words before where you are. Most of the time you literally can’t see the the beginning of the sentence you’re working on. You can zoom out to type, but any cursor manipulation dumps you back in the claustrophobic view. It’s a sad truth that despite all its other powers, on an iPhone it’s actually easier to type long form text in notes than it is in pages. I hope they come up with a view designed for typing someday.

Cannot even write on this thing without waiting 3 minutes for it to catch up to what words i’m writing. For example: if I was to write this review on the Pages App itself it would still be catching up to each letter. It’d likely still be spelling the “ex” of the word “example” at the start of the sentence. It’s so laggy that I literally watch the word I typed 5 minutes ago be typed out right in front of me as if I just did. So writing a single sentence is excruciating. Please fix this. I have multiple documents that I want to continue writing but this new problem has made that impossible.
It made me lost all of my work

I was doing annotations on a document and while I was writing with the apple pen every input came like 2 seconds after. When I was done with my annotations and hit “Done” the app closed itself and I lost all my work.

I USED to like Pages! I had a few documents on there, and I had two that were really important to me, and then one day, I got on, AND THEY HAD RANDOMLY DELETED! THEY WERE MY TWO MOST IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS! And I DID NOT delete them! Pages, I’m NOT trusting you with important documents anymore!
