The majority of the time, this works pretty well, but God help you when it needs to update. You’ll open your inbox, see a new email, but not be able to open it because it needs “a few minutes” to update. Presumably, you have to sit there, keeping your phone awake the whole time for said update. Wasted a solid five minutes on this today at one point and got nowhere.

Functions work sometimes, updates are a multiple day process, unable to manage the app independently. Turrible

Don’t count on this in an emergency if you don’t have your laptop!!! Keeps doing “in app updates” at the worst times. Why the update doesn’t happen through the App Store is beyond me. Slower than death as well... MS just doesn’t care about any of their products anymore...

This app is way overdue for an effective update. It is annoying to have to keep reinstalling it after it crashes. Please!

Ever since this started to appear ("Downloading an app update"), only my email titles show up but none of it would open. Instead an error message appears... EVERYTIME. I even deleted and redownload the app and it doesn't do anything - still download God knows what. Please get your developers to do a better job.

No way to make it check for new mail -now-. Can't monitor any folder but Inbox to get notifications of new mail. Doesn't update item counts on the folder tree. Doesn't remember the last folder you were browsing, goes to Inbox when you return to the app. Makes you wait when it is -downloading- an app update. I should never have to wait to access my data. App update downloads should happen in the background. Worst of all: Nags you to review it. And if it's been a while since you've reviewed it, nags you to update your review. It's a steaming pile but it's required by my company that I use it. Embarrassing for a company with as much talent as Microsoft, but they're way too big to care.

Please fix the app. It's stuck in "Downloading an app update. This may take a few minutes." They message keeps cycling and the app is rendered useless since I can't check any of my Outlook mailboxes.

I have not found a client that works well with O366. However, out of all of them, this is by far the best. It has some idiosyncrasies, but at least it is stable.

Periodically I can’t access my mail and just get a message saying “Downloading an app update. This may take a few minutes.” During this time, which can last a week, I’m unable to read mail or see calendar appointments. With this type of horrible internal update process, how is this app even allows in the App Store?!?

I use this app for my work at Ball State University. The app does NOT work on iPhones!!! It says “needs to update, it will take a few minutes.” Later it says, “refresh,” but it never updates and does not allow me to look at my mail. Please fix this so I can use the app on my phone again!
