Non Empathetic Developers

Type 41

I, like many people who saw this game at first was immediately interested in playing. The graphics are rather stunning for a mobile game. Sadly this is where the good stops. After reading the plethora of reviews and developer responses I have come to one conclusion: Nexon simply appears to not care what we as a consumer/player have to say. I’ve read countless reviews on this game as I originally had issues even downloading this game and ultimately found that each and every single “developer response” lacked empathy and a more personal response. Every single message is canned and in my eyes a way to show the company is responsive, but actually lacks the ability to follow through with anything that the players actually have legitimate concerns on. I have played many Nexon games and all of them feel pay to win which is unethical and unfair to many who just want to play a game as game. Now don’t get me wrong, I understand that responding individually to each review can be tedious, but let me tell you something, I work for a multi billion dollar tech giant and my management take the time to call people about poor experiences they’ve had in our store to ask more as to why and try to make it better and this happens every, single, day. That’s all I’ll say on that subject. I think what is most disgusting is the overwhelming amount of people who said the Korean and Japanese versions of the game are very different from the global versions stating it’s very dumbed down and even easier to get SR and SSR rated characters, this indicates an extremely heavy bias towards a specific player base which I consider dirty marketing tactics, let alone just wrong and slightly racist. Whether or not that is true I leave up to you all to decide. Nexon has this nasty habit of releasing games that are very much geared towards paying to win which really ruins the experience of playing a game. It is my sincere hope that the developers, of their PR in charge of feedback and reviews reads this and learns from this, sadly... like every single review on here I will likely receive a generic canned response and be just another person who they push aside in an attempt to say “we care what you have to say so here’s a response to show we care” causality. By all means play the game, it is fun to look at and the bones of something incredible, but sadly unless the developers actually add more, that’s all this game will ever be, pretty on the outside, dull, boring and empty on the inside.

The developer is killing the game

engruzii

I liked the game when it first started but sadly they got stingy with every update now even for paying players like me we get less things for our money. The game keep getting worser and frankly it’s a good game but the choices and downgrading they keep doing in every update makes this game good for only testing and enjoying the graphics for and hour or so then just delete it to avoid falling into its trap I recommend the game for testing but don’t spend any money into it just delete it before you they let you fall into their trap

They keep nerfing the freebies that players get. During global release we got tons of good stuff. Now they give out crap rewards.

Boring P2W graphic enticer

0mile223

This is one of the most P2W game that I ever played. Graphics are great but the game is pure grind, there is no fun in it. There is something call rainbow catalyst and it is strictly controlled. There is no way to get this stuff except persistent grind and paying for it. If you grind you might get about 5 to 8 bottle a week. You need 80 to advance an ssr from A to S rank. There is no comparison, the pay player win. Unless you are prepared to pay $20 to 50 usd a package, don't bother playing it. You will get very discouraged and quit. To be competitive, you'll also need to do the gacha draws, cost 300 crystals a draw. It takes about a week after the honeymoon period to get 300 crystals unless you grind all day long then half a week. Problem is the draws will give you garbage about 7 or 8 out of 10 times. So do the math, it don't add up. While you are saving up for the gacha, the pay players have already plugged in tonnes of draws. That's where the free player lose the biggest. You need the draws to get repeated characters to advace their lvl cap. Without it, you will be a chump in the game, a forever beginner. Side note, all swimsuit skins are paid only, no free skin for swimsuit. What is the point? Oh, and they'll hit back with a pointless response like we'll try our best to... Don't fast so much, just correct the game.

Started promising, got greedy

Is0chronous

This game was a pleasant surprise. Lovely graphics, a (seemingly) generous economy, fun battle system, interesting characters... but over the past few updates Nexon's greed has turned the game into a money-sucking RNG hell. The most recent event has the WORST rewards, and the drop rate for top-tier units in the "global" version of the game is literally one-FIFTH that of the Korean & Japanese versions. English speaking players specifically are being shamelessly fleeced by this company. The game is dependent on getting multiple copies of the same hero, but every update makes it harder and harder to do that. This is literally the most broken economy I've ever seen in a Gacha game. Consider this: every unit can equip three basic pieces of equipment. To acquire and Max out a SINGLE piece of 5* equipment would take literally 2 months of playing multiple times every day. That's 6 months to max equip one unit. You've got four more to go just for a single team! Or you can spend a truly STUPID amount of money to get more CHANCES to get better stuff. You can't even guarantee you're gonna get it. One guy on Reddit spent $300 on gems for the most recent dark banner. He did SIXTEEN pulls on this "drop rate up for dark units" banner and got ONE top-tier unit, and it wasn't even a dark unit! Seriously, this game is badly broken. The devs need to slow down on introducing new heroes and take a closer look at their economy. If they don't do something to fix it, their player base is going to start leaving in droves for more player-friendly games like Epic Seven and Elune.
