Helpful tool

I'm new to FAM so I use this app alongside a paper chart. It helps confirm what I think so I can be sure my knowledge of FAM is good enough to use it as birth control.

Charting

Good app for keeping track of temps and o signs. I prefer fertility friend but I have them both.

Great Resource!

Xtina Geri

Very thorough! Teaches you about your body, from fertility, menstruation, pregnancy, to menopause. I’m loving learning about my body and my cycle and this app empowers me to take charge of it all!

Finally a cycle app that works!

Clsmith0941

I’ve been using other apps for years waiting for TCOYF to develop one. I finally saw this one pop up and it’s amazing! It’s accurate and fairly simple to use. I finally feel like I’m not guessing each month on my cycle data. Only request is for it to sync with Apple health kit.

Love Love Love

Everything you need to track your cycle all in one place. And then some. It’s simple and easy to use, yet everything cycle-related is included. It’s incredibly empowering knowing where I’m at in my cycle each month. Endlessly thankful for this app & it’s creators.

Clunky UI

Arh2008

The UI is a tad clunky. Viewing charts is tricky and hard to do if trying to view the whole month at once. You also can't view months side by side. Entering data is a pain because of how small things are. I've tried turning off some of the items that aren't relevant and it doesn't work. This app assumes you've read the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" so be prepared for confusion if you haven't.

TCOYF necessary companion

Extreme Satisfaction

I've been using FAM since 2011. I charted with paper, then purchased the program for my computer. After my second child I stopped charting regularly and realized that my computer upgrade made my old program useless. I'm happy there's an app now that's so dang convenient. If you're looking for a simple app to dive right into charting, this one may not be for you. This is specifically a companion to the Taking Charge of Your Fertility book. If you haven't read that book then charting with any app isn't going to help you much. Read the book, gain knowledge and insight. It's only going to make your life better. Then you won't need an app to tell you when you're going to ovulate. You'll know before it does. But, the app is great for keeping all the info handy. And, way better than having a bunch of paper everywhere.

Effective although Sluggish

Mraykova

I've been using this app for over two years after reading the book TCOYF. I'm very happy using the FAM method, and this app does what it needs to do. My main complaint with the app is that it tends to be slow...slow to log me in, slow to enter new data, and slow to pull up my chart. As soon as I save a new data point (BBT for example) the app shuts me out for a few seconds while it shows the dreaded "updating cycle information" progress bar and I can't enter additional info during that time. I wish that it would wait to do this until the app has been inactive for, say, five seconds so as not to interrupt me. It's especially problematic when I'm entering my BBT in the morning (before I'm fully awake), because I tend to fall asleep again while I wait to be logged in! To get around the sluggishness, I was hoping to create a shortcut using Workflow or Launch Center, but sadly ovagraph isn't compatible with these apps. It would also be nice if it could integrate with iOS's Health app. Overall I give four stars because I'm grateful for the app being free and without ads, and I do recommend it. These are just my suggestions for the developers to further improve. I know there are many similar apps out there, but I'd rather not switch away from ovagraph after having used it for so long. Thank you and please keep updating! :)

Essential Tracking App

Hannah Sherman

I’ve been using FAM (Fertility Awareness Method) as birth control since early 2015. I was introduced to the concept by a friend who charted on paper. After reading as much as I could online I decided I’d give this method a shot. This app has been lifesaver, I simply “track” my daily fertility signs and log that info into this user friendly app (so much easier than paper charting). Just this year (2017) I bought the book (Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler) this book has been liberating for me, now I understand how to best utilize the app and know my body signals to a science (literally)! I highly recommend this app! Never steered me wrong (ps. My husband and i use this method to avoid pregnancy presently, nearly 3 years of success for us!)

Gets the job done

I’ve been practicing this method for almost two years now. It works. The app is helpful to log all the necessary information. However, it’s a little slow (most times) and not as user-intuitive as I’d like it to be for some functions, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. The FAM deserves 5+++ stars though.
