Helpful

ASP in VT

After my sister faced a long haul of infertility and I discovered I have PCOS, I wanted to get a better handle on my system. I got the book TCOYF (great!!) and this app. It’s a little slow and glitchy, but has the most detailed questions of tracking apps I’ve tried. I think it is best for women trying to get pregnant (I am not) but helpful for just getting an idea of when I’m ovulating, when I’m not, and when I’m having cysts. I also have multiple other chronic illnesses, so I wish there were more symptom-related questions so that I could track all of it at once — I believe my other illnesses are linked to my hormones, but would love to see evidence. I recognize that’s not what most people are looking for, but I would love that!

OvaGraph is really straightforward. I got this app after reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility. It has the essentials, and I appreciate the simple color scheme. I find it easy to read my chart, and i like that the app selects the day it believes you ovulated, based on temp and cervix signs.

Please make more user-friendly and closer to Toni Weschler’s fertility charts

I like being able to lie in bed after taking my temperature and enter the data on my phone each morning. And I like that the app graphs my data and creates a chart for me. However, I’m very disappointed in the quality of the app. It seems a little clunky. When I want to enter my temperature, I have to tap on “View Today’s Data”, wait for it to load, then tap on the little word “Edit” in the corner of the page. Once adding my temperature and time, I have to wait for it to load. Sometimes it takes a full minute or two...or three. For such a tiny bit of data, that is way too long. I would like to see the current chart immediately when I open the app. I would like to be able to add my information simply by tapping that spot on the app. For example, tapping on the temperature section to enter my new temperature. I would like to see the data appear on the chart instantly, rather than going to a loading page where I watch the bar slowly fill up. I would like to see the chart include all the same information that Toni’s charts do. Please include a place to add menstrual cramps. Please change the vaginal sensations to “Dry, Sticky, COLD, Wet”. (“Slippery” is an extension of “Wet”.) Please include a way to enter the length of vaginal fluid stretch in inches. I don’t like having to enter all these things in under “Notes”, then not see the note in my chart until I tap on it. And please include a place to enter the color of vaginal fluid (clear, opaque). And lastly, please make it so that I can add color of menstrual flow (bright red, brown, pink, etc.) Please make notes such that what I enter is immediately and always visible on the chart, rather than having to tap on the “Note” icon in order to see it. Please make the chart capable of being more individual. I have to wade through a lot of supplements, medicines, and tests that I don’t use. Please teach the app Toni’s “Rule of Thumb”: when there is an outlying temperature, throw it out! The app is drawing my cover line in the wrong place because of one outlying temperature. It it ignored that one, it would draw a beautiful, perfect cover line right where it should be! Please enable the app to print my charts so that I can put physical copies of my charts in my fertility chart binder! I like the ease of charting on the app, but I still want to be able to flip through physical past charts. I use this app despite the fact that it seems to be in its infancy. I would like to see improvements made so that it blossoms into a mature, user-friendly, sleek app that follows Toni Weschler’s charts more accurately. It has potential! Take my suggestions to heart and make it awesome!

Thank you!

Thank you for fixing the scrolling function in the Notes field. I really appreciate it. ?

Easy to use

245,:357,

This app is easy to use and tracks so many things pertaining to fertility. I’ve just started using it, but so far I am very pleased.

Designed for TTC - not Avoiding Pregnancy

sstrata

I like a lot of things about this app - it allows me to put in lots of info. It’s sometimes slow, but hasn’t been as much of a problem since I switched to an iPhone. I really REALLY wish it wasn’t JUST designed for people trying to get pregnant. I’ve been using FAM w barriers for 3 years avoiding pregnancy and now TTC. It frustrated me that the app had a place for birth control under medication, but the whole point of FAM is not using hormonal medication for birth control. The app would be much better if they 1)have options for birth control barriers used on potentially furtive days (condom, diaphragm, etc.) and 2) wasn’t so pushy about asking me if I wanted to take a pregnancy test 7 days after ovulation or telling me I should take Supplements since I haven’t gotten pregnant yet.

This app was so simple and made tracking my cycle fun!

Good, not great

I’m using OvaGraph for FAM birth control, and I like it over other apps because it allows me to actually see a full chart — but it’s better than a printable chart because it’s more portable! But it’s not very user-friendly and it’s pretty slow.

Not user-friendly and can't delete account

Love it, but ...

I downloaded a few different tracker apps to compare and decided pretty quickly that this one was my least favorite. It's not user-friendly and the design is not appealing to me. I then tried multiple times to delete my account (on both my phone and my desktop), but every time I receive an error message. Now I'm receiving promotional emails and when I click the unsubscribe link, I'm just taken to the website with no unsubscribe options. I'm glad this app is helpful to some, but for me it's just a spam-filled trap with no way out.
