Nothing good has come out of this app. U say the tiniest little thing and then poof your phones off , before we had the app , we were able to talk out issues and I would only get my phone off if I was continuing to act badly , now I say one little thing and it’s off, I have a really bad experience with this app , I have felt it makes me and my parents relationship way worse , it just makes me angry and nothing good ever comes out of the app , it is also really embarrassing to explain the app to other kids, please parents do not download this , kids like me are having the same issues with the app.

it’s made everything worse tbh

Kiribaku Forever

I’m a child, so apparently my opinion is invalid, but I’m going to complain regardless because OurPact makes everything worse. I’ve had this app on my phone for about a year now, so I can’t particularly complain because people have had It longer than me, but the app takes away everything that I enjoy. For example, the other day, I took a little longer than usual to get ready, so my parents decided that banning tiktok was a good idea. Of course, I figured out a way to get tiktok back, but if I’m in the middle of making a draft it doesn’t save. This might just be my phone settings, but it’s really annoying because I post mostly art content, and I can’t just redo all of the line art, coloring, and shading. Another example is how if I’m doing schoolwork on my phone on the Safari app, then my screentime times out, now I can’t access my unfinished work and my work in websites like Google Forma, Canvas and Code.org as well as places where I’m making a written responses are deleted. This really annoys me because I have lots of homework and class work that I need to complete. Another reason why I don’t like OurPact is because in the iOS 14 update, where I’m able to create widgets and customize my Home Screen, I’m not able to do. I spent three hours customizing my screen, only for my mom to turn off all screentime and everything got deleted. Even if the app that I have a shortcut for is turned on for always, the shortcut itself disappears. I’ve tried everything to get it to work and my mom even tried to help, but nothing worked. I emailed the staff at OurPact and I got an email back only after pestering them about five times. The email was ‘apologetic’ and they didn’t particularly seem like they cared. OurPact also scrambles my apps around, and if I move them and then turn my screentime off then back on, somehow they move? This might just be a me problem, but frankly, it bothers me a lot because I’m never able to find the apps I need.

I’m not a fan

Soccer super women

I’m not angry as much as some kids I’m 13 btw and have been stuck with it for a couple years. however like many of them said it is a little too restricting for teens although this is the age that it would be needed for me and other people my age like to sneak around at night and I get that, maybe have options on what you want to restrict would be nice or something to customize on the parents side. This is what I can say as a kid and I’m sure that with the parents if there are more issues like this or what not. However tip I deleted the app with multiple devices using it and the first ones got rid of it and the last one got stuck with it, I can’t guarantee that this still works since i did this over a year ago but u can give it a shot if ur that desperate. And it is seriously ANNOYING that it messes up ur apps order each and every time, I use the folder/box method to organize however each time it screws it up every time the apps are shut off. I have given up on organizing for the past year but a little fix couldn’t hurt. I have to give credit to the creators for the app so far but you still have some things to work on.

Many many bugs!

I’m on the “victim” side of this app, and yes, it does succeed in taking away all of my apps. One problem with this app is that it turns off my apps randomly. Another is that it scrambles all of my apps, taking them out of folders and such. I know i’m biased, but these are software issues that need to be solved asap.

Well Made. But Torture

Qscefbthnikp

My mom uses OurPact and one way to describe it it torture. Whenever my mom wants me to come out of my room she turns my apps off. I get the point of OurPact but when you are 14 it gets annoying real fast and by now, I believe my mom has too much fun turning my apps off. But this app is well made and does what it is made to do.

All Around Great App

MsAcThI

Ourpact is one of the best apps out there ever for control over your child’s lives! I love it when it bugs out so that you can’t turn apps off or turn them back on again! So much fun to deal with :) I also really love it when it completely disables your messaging account so that you and others don’t receive any of your text messages, even when your apps are on. Just overall really great design and layout, and absolutely perfect if you want to control every aspect of your child’s life. Hey every parent let’s shelter our kids forever so they don’t know how to respond to any situation. I’m sure your kid will love it when they can’t tell you anything (even if it’s life threatening) because you’ll probably ground them for it! Keep it up Ourpact, you’re really changing peoples lives out there☺️
