Trouble navigating

The app is self seems like a really good ideal but unfortunately I have no way of marking off the chores that I complete as the admin person. I don’t know where to activate the chores so that I can be able to start checking them off.

It has the basic functions I need. Great app! It's clean and easy to use. The only problem I have is when you go to the Rewards tab, go to any tab, then come back again to the Rewards tab, the progress bar appears to be just loading. It gets fixed when I restart the app. I can live with it but it's good when that can be fix without restarting. For future versions, I suggest to have the tasks due based on specific time rather than based on dates only, then add sorting of tasks based on date/time. Overall, I'm happy with it and plan to continue on using it. Thanks for making this great app!

Hello, I like this app. However, for the last few months I don’t get notified when my daughter completes a chore. I used to get notified, and I’ve checked my settings in the app and on my phone and I’m set up for notifications in both places. That was the biggest plus point of the app is I could see right away she had started her chores. Another plus is the emails I get weekly, but only sometimes, not regularly, that show our weekly points totals. If the emails came weekly and I could get notified again I would rate this app a 5. :)

Needs to be updated

I liked the app when I used it before, but it is in need of an update, it has been over a year and it is full of glitches. The app is going to be unusable soon if it is not updated, and to some is probably already unusable. Pretty frustrating.

My husband and I got a lot of use out of this for our household—it worked perfectly to make sure we each kept track of regular tasks as well as those tasks that only pop up every once in a while (eg, cleaning the oven). That is, until my husband upgraded his phone and found that OurHome isn’t supported on the newest google phones.

Great but lacking

I think the app is amazing. Great concept, except it lacks tooltips to help make things clear. For example, in settings, unlimited completion, when I turn it off people can do the task without limit, when I turn it on, it can only be done once. Please put more tooltips in your app so it helps the users navigate it better.

Unable to setup family and account

My roommates and I were excited when we found this app, but we’re unable to figure how to sign in and create and account after a family had been created. We are all in the software industry and have never had a problem with something as simple as logging in and creating an account. The app is a great idea but poorly executed.

It seemed so good. I set everything up. Set up my email and password and for my son as well and as soon as I had him download it, it says our emails don’t exist. I recreated and still did the same thing. Huge disappointment.

This is literally The BEST chore management system I’ve ever used. It’s amazing in every way! From the countless tools to set up chores, to the pleasing design, to the family communication , even built-in grocery lists! I LOVE this app, and highly suggest it. I also suggest assigning 1 point = 1 cent. That way 100 points = $1. Makes it super easy to give like 10 points per task. Honestly, this app is SO underrated. It’s AWESOME!!!

I love everything about this app. Instead of telling the teenagers what they need to be doing, I can tell them to go check their app for the day and I don’t have to nag! I love the tasks, repeat options, and reminders, and the grocery list is a nice bonus feature. It is also nice that the kids can suggest rewards to spend their points on. The filter and sort options are perfect, as well as the calendar. I also like adding pictures of messy rooms and dishes from our house to provide a little extra motivation! The feature for rotating tasks to different owners is also very nice. Great app!
