Nope. The 'new' update is not up to par.

Licensing the actual Othello game is not am improvement. Going from sleek 3D clean, uncluttered design to the muddy and confusing graphics of this version was a startlingly bad experience when I just played it for the first time. The former iTurnstones had a lot going for it. I have no further need for this game, after years of playing it. I will be uninstalling it. And telling my friends.

Faithful to the familiar Othello and works very well! AI is slow and not terribly smart even on the hardest setting, but it's hard to complain about otherwise.

I'd sure like to go back to the old iTurnStones. I hate the new UI. Ads are obnoxious distraction. Run away!

Deleted it. I liked the previous version of Iturnstones, this one is annoying to use.

This version has some bugs

I've really enjoyed the previous version of iturnstones, and I got really excited to try out this newest update, but it crashes every time I try to open it up. Developers, I really like this game and I want to keep using it.

Connectivity online is a problem

App has already dropped me in the middle of several games, including a couple where I was all but locked in to a win. Frustrating.

Poor memory management & logic

Program marks me a loser if connection loses. Lost several games like that. Blocked people turn into buddies which is totally absurd. Seems like there is more communication back and forth than necessary. Keep it simple guys. Use proper data objects to make the program run efficiently.

The app seems to run fine but the fact that it plays a video ad after every single game coupled with the inability to even pay to turn off ads makes the app impossible for me to enjoy.
