Crashes almost every game

App crashes during at least every other game. Lately I can’t get through one game without it freezing. Games aren’t saved so you have to start over.

Issues with lockup getting worse

99% of my loses come from the app locking up and it’s getting worse.

Just recently starting learning, and I really enjoy playing in my spare time and have been trying hard to improve. It’s very useful that I can practice against the cpu at multiple difficulty levels and then try out what I’ve learned with random players online. However, I am having some issues with the app freezing/crashing randomly in the middle of games. Most often during online games but even sometimes against the cpu. At first it was just once in a while, maybe 1 in 20 games but now it’s more like 1 in 4... I’m not sure why this is happening but I hope it gets fixed at some point as it is very frustrating and is pulling down my win-lose ratio. It’s already low enough as it is, heh.

My sister sent me an invite to play the game, so we are both able to play, but on my phone, she is offline, so I can’t send her an invite to play with me.

To draw the good players and defeat all the other Othello/Reversi apps out there, this app needs to be improved. First, fix the glitches. I’ve lost so many games due to the app crashing. Fix that please. Super annoying. Some sort of audio clue when the timer is running out should be standard. Maybe an option to turn it on or off?? The game is a little sluggish, especially when the other player has no moves. A rating system of some kind (probably modeled after the official tournament system) should also be implemented. Finally, it would be super clutch if the app named the official openings, like Othello Quest. If it did these things, I bet this would become the go to app for everybody. The top app now is not that great.

Dropped connections

Enjoyed the game, especially the ability to play others, but found the incredible number of lost connections and the obnoxious ads that continually launch the App Store without permission (and interrupt the game or cause lost connections) very frustrating. It happened extensively on WiFi and seemed to be linked to the ads. So I began playing exclusively on cell service. That helped, but lost connections and rogue ads were still a problem. It got so bad that to play, I would restrict my phone to prevent the App Store from launching. This helped, but same issues persisted. After months of this, I’ve grow tired of having these issues and the company is not addressing this so I am deleting the app for good.

I like the game, but it seems that in between games, these annoying ads for other games pop up and there is no way to close them out other than completely closing out the game and reopening it! There’s no count down until you can close, nothing! It just stays there until you close out the game! Who needs it. I am seriously considering just deleting the app because of this! Annoying me with an ad that won’t go away will in no way make me want anything to do with the advertised game that’s for sure!

Connection Issues

Please fix a bug in which iPhone users are booted off of the server when their phone gives a “20% or 10% battery life remaining notice.” This renders the game unplayable whenever a user’s battery is even close to low.
