Doesn’t work

I downloaded this to see where the closest cell to would be. I have iPhone 12 Pro with the latest iOS. I get this error message “No cell towers located”. As I write this I am sitting about 50 ft away from a cell tower. Please fix this issue.

Cell tower finder only works if you have really good service. Which seems redundant to me

Results are highly volatile

I compared Opensignal’s results with sppedtest.com and few others. The Opensignal’s results is highly inaccurate and volatile. In a 3 consecutive test and a controlled environment. The download and upload speed is 50% lower than the other results in first attempt. The second results is within 15% different with others. The last results is 30% higher than the controlled bandwidth cap. This is the 4th time I tried to come back from using Opensignal speedtest snd the 4th time I deleted right after inaccurate test results again. I do wish you guys make a progress and able to produce more consistent results the next time.
Signal compass is not working

Thanks for updating your name today to reflect that you’re just another speed test app. Why you changed from an app that could make a difference to just a dot in the crowd I’ll never know, but I don’t care about speed tests and I sure as heck don’t care about sharing it. It used to be that our experience was reflected on a map, which was useful. You should have just added the ability to show whether this test was bare device vs using a booster, as most of us were using the app to find cell towers, not our speed. And the test has become useless anyway, as a lot of times it just reports error instead of a speed. Speedtest.net works, so the issues are related to open signal. When I need the app to work, it doesn’t. Most of the time, the arrow is not there on the compass. It’s just blank. The map is garbage. If it just showed the towers like it used to, I could get use out of it. As it is now, the app is pretty much garbage. Please bring back the old version and return to your roots.
Crashes when trying to view location

The app is broken. It completely crashes when you select the GPS icon now.
