Functional but clunky

RileyP - temmobile

Basic app, definitely doesn't ooze Onkyo. Lost connection for a long time, after several troubleshooting attempts over several months, found a forum post that helped (thank you TexAsh!) For those who lost connection & cant get it to work try this: Turn off receiver/device Unplug receiver/device Uninstall app Plug in receiver/device & turn on Reinstall app Worked for me...

Used to work

Still love my Onkyo equipment...but this is a disappointment iPhone 6+

Please update Remote 2

Nick89DD

When will the Remote 2 be updated to iOS11? I need it to power other zones. I wish I had purchased a different brand as this seems to be a common issue with each update. Is there another remote that will support multiple zones?

When it works

firkinahsoul

It works 30% of the time. When it works it’s great. Will not connect the 70% percent of the time.

Disappointing

Cannot control zone2 volume. The previous version is no longer available after iOS update.

Volume controls

The app lets you control center, sub, and main volume. Could you please update the app to control rear volume?

Not working good on 11.2.1

Not working good on iOS 11.2.1! Take super long time to connect to onkyo! Please fix!

Used to work, and loved it! The app changed, with several functions missing. Since I’ve tried to use this app in Nov 2017, all I can do is turn the receiver on, but nothing else. Deleted and added the app several times, rebooted my phone, no change. I get, “Connection Failed, Device did not respond.”

Zone 2 Volume control On HT-RC360 not working

Pompito123

I used Remote 2 app until iOS11 because Remote 3 is not able to control Zone 2 Volume. Now I have to use remote 3 since remote 2 is no longer compatible with iOS11. When I want to control zone 2 volume on app it states that the volume level is fixed and it is not.

Much better than using the remote!

Jan 2018: I just got this app after years of using the actual remote control. Day and night difference. My only complaint is when changing source, XM to Pandora for example, mutes the audio. It should play until I make my new choice. GET THIS IF YOU HAVE AN Onkyo.
