This app really gets the job done. I am using it with a DragonFly Red external DAC. My HD music sounds great and now I can take it with me. The only thing negative I will say is about playlist. Creation of a playlist is difficult. If you want to add only one song to a playlist from an album you nee to add the entire album then go back and delete the songs you don't want on edit screen. I suggest an app for your Mac/PC similar to iTunes to manage music and edit/create playlist.
This is, in my opinion, the best EQ app in the App Store by far. The amount of tweaking and option is amazing and will make your listening experience way better. Download it, play with the EQ and enjoy.
This player produces an amazing sound quality, but Bluetooth is glitchy. It didn't use to be, but it hasn't been updated in a long time, and it doesn't work well in iOS 10. When I get in the car and turn on the stereo, once it connects it doesn't resume playing where I left off, it skips to the next song, or sometimes even two songs. I still use it because nothing beats its sound quality.
I've tried a handful of hi-res players on the App Store but the Onkyo Player has been my all time favorite. Glad to see they are still updating this app for us audiophiles! Thank you!
Love this app but there have been bugs while trying to use it via Bluetooth in the car. The latest one is that it plays tracks a little too slowly. Like playing a 45rpm record on 33rpm speed. I would guess tracks are being played 5% too slow from my iPhone 6s Plus. If I kill the app and re-launch it will play correct speed, but the next time I'm in the car it plays tracks too slowly again.
Ever Since I Updated My Iphone To ios 10 This Player Has Had A Bug Where If I Pause A Song, Then Resume, It Will Skip To The Next Track Or Double Skip Over. This Is Annoying To The Fact That I Have Tried Over 30 Different FREE Music Apps, But This Has The Best Soun Quality, ( For Being Free ) Since The Update I Thought This Would Fix This Bug, Nope.... IDK If Any1 Is Having This Issue, But It's An Annoying Bug.
Immediately interesting. Nice delivery of various eq options to enhance various sound aspects and broaden, restrict or tighten sound in ways that reflect particular styles of famous artists music. Suggestion: Mark selections of eq with changed color or something, since folks aren't inclined to memorize all the wording in style descriptions and so when they return to the eq interface they can see which one they selected. I recommend this app.
Like the reviewers before have mentioned, this apps is a killer app that is plagued by bugs/glitches that frustratingly interfere with basic and important phone functions. Please fix these issues so this app gets the 5 stars it should deserve.
This app is rarely updated, cannot create playlist. So disappointed to pay 10$ for this.
