Good + Easy

Easy to use and blocks calls. So far, so good.

It works!

This is like the 5th or 6th call blocking app I’ve tried and the first one that actually works. Sure it sends spam calls to voicemail but that’s ok. The phone doesn’t ring and that’s what I wanted. Awesome!!

Works great so far

Can’t complain, easy to use, and blocks spammers!

#1 numbers

Spamsucks!

Unfortunately some of these scammers are getting crafty by adding #1 to their incoming calls (ie #1 (781)883-####). But since I’ve added the series of numbers (ie 1 (781)883-#### and 781(883)-####), it’s saying that those numbers are already blocked. They are not. So now I’m still getting spam calls from the same numbers because their incoming calls have a #1 in my caller ID. Please modify so we can add #1 as a separate set of numbers to be blocked. Thank you!

Exactly what I needed

This app is simple and does its job perfectly and was worth every cent. I get calls from area code-three numbers-different four numbers all the time and this stops them perfectly. Great job. I recommend it to everyone.

Great App

This is still one of the best cures for robocalls. I’m surprised it doesn’t get mentioned more in the press. My original review is shown below. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> This app is just what I was looking for. There are several highly rated subscription apps that handle robocalls and known scammers. However, I don’t get so many calls that I mind manually blocking these calls. What drives me nuts, however, are the calls from a range of numbers that are probably coming from the same entity. This app is perfect for this situation. I have been trying to keep the ranges down to a few thousand numbers because I think the developer said that Apple will only allow one million blocked numbers. No problem—this should do the trick. Did notice one glitch when setting up my iPhone X. The second number entered will keep the app loading. To fix this I just force quit the app, and all subsequent numbers entered fine.

doesnt work

doesnt block or comes up retry or closes or comes up saying to reinstall every time its been reinstalled. waste of money

Worth Every Penny!

By far the best solution to block unwanted callers, robot calls, spoofed calls, and unsolicited sales calls. No other app I have tried actually works, not even the Hiya app. Thank you so much for this app! First day of use I was able to block an annoying call I get every morning from the same prefixed number at 8:30am with the last four digits always changing—no more!

Works perfectly

Awful, terrible, insulting

This is the first and only app I’ve ever paid money for, and I’m glad I did. The key to Number Shield is using wildcards to block all numbers that start with, say, a certain area code. I used to get several robocalls per week, and often multiple per day, from spoofed numbers with my area code. Luckily, I don’t live near my phone’s area code anymore, so I can safely block any and all numbers from it. I haven’t gotten a single call from any number I’ve blocked with Number Shield. I don’t know if they’re sent to voicemail or what, but I’ve never noticed them. The wildcard method it employs works perfectly. If only Apple would let its phones block more than 50 million numbers...
