Set doesn't stay set

Day after day, this app asks if I want to set my primary station. The next day, it's forgotten what I chose, and makes me start over and enter my ZIP code.

... because they’ll delete your entire playlist. Almost every month since they changed the format up has this happened (I think it has been years at this point). The lousiest.

I want to love this app but once every few weeks the feed just gets stuck and won’t update. It’s Tuesday now and I’m still seeing everything from Sunday despite having refreshed and even deleting and reinstalling the app. Nothing has changed. Still stuck on Sunday. Shame!

I’ve used the NPR app to listen to news while getting ready for work. I do not have a radio so my phone is it. After months of listening and the app going dead, off and on, I cannot get a full story. It’s a waste of time. I’ll delete this and just listen in the car. Sad because I love NPR.

An ad, EVERY TIME YOU HIT PAUSE

If I have to hit pause when listening, which I often do, it always plays an ad when you play the app again. Phone rings? Another ad. Trying to listen to something important like covid-19 coverage is a frustrating experience. Stop asking for money every five seconds and just charge $25 a year for ad-free listening. I may as well just listen to an old fashioned radio.

NPR is a disgusting organization that destroyed Georgia’s only good radio station by taking it over and filling it with their garbage when they already had a dedicated station. I hope they choke. RIP WRAS.

“Primary station”

Love NPR, and love listening with the app! ? I have listened via the app countless times, and the first time I did so, I set my local station as my “primary station.” It doesn’t happen every time, but the app often makes me *re-set* my already-set station as my “primary station.” Sometimes the app remembers me, sometimes it doesn’t. This is only a minor issue, but thought I’d mention it. THANKS for the otherwise wonderful app!

iPhone stinks

App cuts and stops playing randomly. It also doesn’t save when you select the primary station, so you have to search for your station every 2-3 times you open the app.

The app suddenly stops streaming...daily. I’ve restarted, deleted and downloaded again, etc., and no matter what I get the same result: spotty streaming. I’ve since downloaded my local public radio app and have since had no trouble whatsoever. I emailed NPR about this once and they simply apologized for the problem.

Limited news to typical associated press. Limited world news focus.

Limited news to typical associated press. Limited world news focus. News briefs and highlights are typically Trump related issues, politics and political issues. little specific economic and business news. I hope this app can address more international news topics. Also, I am typically liberal, but I don’t hear many conservative points of view to balance out the dialogue. I like to hear as many sides to the story as I can. The app is organized well and is easy to navigate, kudos in that regard.
